Vitamin Sea was exactly what we needed!!

Vitamin Sea in the Barefoot Cottages was wonderful! Stephanie was extremely accommodating and easy to contact. The house was beautifully decorated and had comfortable furniture & beds! The kitchen was great and the screened in porches were so pleasant!You can’t go wrong with Vitamin Sea!

We had a very good week!! Port st Joe is a nice little Florida town. Barefoot Cottages is a good location for peace and quiet and has nice amenities. This specific condo is super and nicely equipped; however needs a deep clean.

This was an amazing stay

This house was comfortable for all 8 of the people in my party. I slept in on the couch and I still enjoyed every second of it. Its also neat that there is wild life all in the complex youre in so youre see little frogs and lizards even a crab or two. Theres a lot of close beaches to the right of it and alot of groceries and business to the left. The family across from us were nice but loud. The only thing is that I recomend looking around for your places to visit theres a lot of hole in the wall places and not alot of huge tourest traps. Overall this was an amazing stay.

Family Spring Break

Our home was very clean, and newly updated. It was only minutes from downtown Port St Joe, about 15 min from Mexico Beach and about 25 min from Cale San Blas Beach. The complex had 2 pools which were nice to let the kids wind down at after the beach. Very nice stay!!

Relaxing family time

We stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. We arrived at the end of March. The pools, although heated, were still chilly. There are many charcoal grills conviently located.Listing is accurate regarding location- we drove about an hour every time we did something.1- Extremely picky thing to mention-the teflon pans were in extremely poor condition. We chose to purchase a new one.1We areived at the end of March.

Perfect place to get away

This house is really cute and the decor is perfect. The house was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The living room was very comfortable for relaxing. This is a great location to head to the beach or get to shopping and restaurants. Port StJoe is really close and Main Street is wonderful. There are lots of cute boutiques, little shops and restaurants. It feels like a street in a Halmark movie. The area is not very commercialized and quaint. We really enjoyed our stay and our host was great.

Vitamin sea is great

Vitamin sea is a beautiful 2 story home in a nice, quiet, gated community just a couple minutes drive from the bay and just a few more minutes drive to the Gulf. The community has three pools, one hot tub, and one fitness room. They are all a short walk from the home. We loved the sidewalks around the community as they were great for walking our dogs. We also really enjoyed the two screened in porches with swings and loved that we could let our dogs out with us and not worry about them escaping. We used the downstairs porch most since the upstairs porch is through one of the bedrooms. Only the upstairs kids bedroom has a TV as well as the living room, but that was okay for us. The home was big enough for our family of five adults, one toddler, and three small dogs. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was an additional powder Room/ laundry room off of the living room. The home seemed new and decorated nicely. There are two nearby grocery stores and a good amount of restaurants and shops in downtown Port St. Joe, which was about a 5-minute drive. We ate at Hunt's on the bay one evening and got a great sunset view. We also ate at krazy fish grill, sisters bistro, the brick wall, and long bills in Cape san blas. We loved that this city was not overcrowded and touristy. Overall this was a great place to stay with my family and we would come back in the future.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room. It was comfy cozy, home away from home. The only thing is that house keeping did not wash the quilts in the room with bunk beds. There was stuff on them. That said we would definitely stay there again. The owner is great and communicates with us promptly and regularly. The survey is asking us to rate the pool but we never saw it so I cannot give it a rating. The survey will not let me put NA or leave it blank. So the 5 star rating for the pool is really N/A.

This cottage was perfect for our Holiday getaway. Our family of five were greeted wirh a beautiful, well equipped home, comfortable porch swings, beautiful decor, and complimentary coffee. During the warmet season, the multiple pools and their locations throughout the property would be a great asset. The property's location just minutes to the beach for shelling, sunsets, and surf, was perfect. Port St. Joe was less than a five minute drive to shops and dining. We will definitely be back to the Forgotten Coast.

Some of our favorite things to do in our spare time is hike with our girls and get out and explore.

We also really enjoy going over to Windmark and getting a bite to eat at Bruno's Pizza then going over to the Mill Mercantile and Social to get a drink and play corn hole or enjoy live music.

Why they chose this property

Some of our favorite things to do in Port St. Joe is to walk up and down Downtown Port St. Joe window shopping, stopping in to grab a bite to eat at Joe Mama's, Krazyfish Grill, The BrickWall, Cat 5 Raw Bar or Quattro Locos and for something sweet getting a Jersey Gelato at Shoobies or a daily special milkshake from the Sugar Shack.

What makes this property unique

This house is great for all types of groups looking to explore all this area has to offer. It has access to two community pools (soon to be three), hot tub and fitness center. The beach is an easy drive less than 1/4 mile to Windmwark Public Beach, which has restrooms, plenty of parking and a great spot for shelling.
