About this property

4 BR Antique Provincetown Single Family Home in the Center of Town - Sleeps 9!

This classic Provincetown antique home is located in the center of town steps away from all the restaurants, shops, and bars of Provincetown! All bathrooms have just been completely redone, and a new Jack + Jill bathroom was added to the downstairs bedrooms. Built in circa 1830, the home retains many original details: wide plank floors, authentic six over six windows, two period fireplace mantels, and original door and window trim. The first floor has a sunny living room, separate dining room, full kitchen, a full bath and two spacious bedrooms. The second floor features two additional large bedrooms and another bathroom and a laundry room. There is a large patio up front to store bikes and a private brick patio on the West side of the house that is perfect for dining and grilling out.

This is a new rental with a new owner and therefore there are few reviews.

Please note that the owner will be living in separate upstairs apartment at the back of the home. There is a separate entrance via the staircase off the back brick patio.

Great stay and host!

My group loved staying here for a week. The house was spacious and in a great location! Matthew was super communicative, helpful, and easy to get in touch with. We’ll definitely be planning to stay here again!

Great location and lots of character!

8 of us stayed for a week in this property. It's an historic house, but the new owner is fixing it up and the renovations so far are great. Location-wise, it's maybe the best I've ever rented in Ptown after coming for 10 years. The living room is comfy and the outside courtyard is perfect for evening dinners. The owner stayed in a separate unit upstairs and was both respectful of our space and on-hand to help when we needed it. Definitely would recommend!

The location to the town is fantastic. Just a block and a half to Commercial. This is a great house for a group that would like a crash pad to party and drop their bags, and a place to sleep, but no more. Ignore the headline. The house is NOT a single-family 4-bedroom home. There is an apartment upstairs with a separate entrance where the owner resides. You can hear him and his friends in the two first-floor bedrooms loud and clear. The owner's apartment is only mentioned in the last line of the entire listing. Read the small print...While the 1800s house is charming, it has not been kept up. Paint is chipping off the walls, and floor radiators are rusted out. The front door is unusable because the frame and steps are rotted. The entrance door only opens halfway, so you have to squeeze out sideways. Several glass windows were cracked and taped together with blue painters' tape. Many of the window blinds are broken or nonexistent. We had to hang a sheet over the bathroom window that was on the street side of the house. The windows either did not open or did not close completely. All of the flower boxes and hanging flowers were dead, and the patio was gross. The umbrella was broken and debris was scattered around the area. The back door was held together with duct tape.To make matters worse, the owner claimed that we damaged a wall. Unbelievable. The entire experience was unfortunate. There is no need to go on. You get the gist...

Would stay here again!

Such a great location. The monument, 361 Commercial for fantastic coffee, Scottscakes for dessert, Lobster Pot nearby. Free parking at the Ptown Monument lot up the block. The inside is gorgeous, very rustic. Owner decorated for Halloween, super cute special touches all around the house. Thanks so much!!
