We do have 5 cameras outside (1 ring camera facing the entry way, 1 on each side of the house including the pool area) theses are only for safety reasons.

Please note that the garage is currently not available for guest we use it as storage. you can park up to 5 cars on the driveway.

The home was clean and had the amenities that were needed. We were unable to get into the property initially due to issues with the smart lock. Additionally, the smart lock malfunctioned during it stay and we were unable to secure the door while we were either away or in the home.We did not use the pool or grill, as it was too cold still to use either. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and easy to get to I40, Newton, Conover, and Hickory.

The house was perfect for our quick trip to the hickory area. Quiet neighborhood, the house was very clean, comfortable, updated and the pool was nice. Loved the main bath shower. Would stay here again.

Perfect home away from home!

We had a wonderful time at this property! We used it for a staycation, with a pool. Our kids swam everyday and both learned to swim here! Our host was quick to answer questions before and during our stay. If you are looking to do the same this is a great location in a quite setting to relax and visit local restaurants and shops.

Just a very few imperfections - light switches, cold pool (it was October though). But it was truly a Serene Villa and we would recommend booking asap.

Hands down one of the best Vrbo experiences ever. I will definitely purchase this home in the future for a mini getaway. Made of ladies mini vacay one to remember. Pool was nice the technology in the home was top notch. Not you typical basic vrbo home the furnished this home like they lived there!

First year of college

We had a great extended weekend! The place was perfect for what our family needed. Halfway between NY and FL! Our only regret is not paying to heat the pool! There were some imperfections with the property but no deal breakers! Just a tip it was nice to be provided with shampoo and conditioner but it was not hotel quality. I am sure you can find a great price for better quality in bulk. The house was just rite for what we needed. Thank you for letting us stay! It was our dogs first vacation and he loved it!

NC Wedding Trip

It was a lovely home in a great neighborhood that was very close to the wedding venue. The owner was quick to respond when contacted about the door lock code not operating for us. I would strongly recommend this location for anyone staying in the Newton, Hickory NC area.

Overnight meet up with longtime friend

A longtime friend and i discovered we would be in the same area and decided to rent this property instead of hotel rooms so we had space and privacy to catch up. We were there from 4 pm check in to 10 am check out the next day. Very nice neighborhood. The cleaning fee was quite high for such a short stay (200) and frankly there were some issues with cleanliness, but it wasn't enough to truly complain, given our short stay. It was nicely outfitted, had everything we needed, comfortable and the owner was accessible. We could not find any information on the house anywhere, so couldn't access Wi-Fi, but again it was such a short visit it didn't really matter.

I just want to apologize if you weren’t able to find WiFi information even though it was in your check in instructions message where you was also able to find your door code. Communication is very important to us so we make sure everything you may need is clearly communicated. Talking about cleaning charge. In our area to service the pool every week cost $200 to ensure the quality of water pool at all time. Wheter you stay for a night or a month, cleaners gets paid the same. I understand your frustration but next time you go somewhere for 10 days you won’t get charged more because you stayed 10 days. Again thank you for staying with us.
