Pirna, also called the gateway to Saxon Switzerland, is about 15 minutes by car from Dresden.
From our accommodation you can go directly into the Malerweg. In about 25 minutes you will reach the Wagner Monument, at the site of which Wagner is said to have got the inspiration for Lohengrin. But the Richard Wagner sites (Castle and Lohengrinhaus) can be reached with a 15-minute walk.
Your accommodation is located about 4 km from Pirnas historic old town, is very quiet on a late Classicist, lovingly restored half-timbered farm. Immerse yourself in Richard Wagner's sense of well-being, exactly in the area where Wagner, as court Kapellmeister, sought and found his exile.
