Spacious and bright, 1st floor apartment in Historical Yarmouth Village
Yarmouth has a small town feel, is centrally located and a short drive to Freeport, Portland restaurants, breweries and state parks. We are in a fantastic location, right off Main Street and it’s charming historical buildings and homes. When you enter the property you will notice our love of flowers and nature. You will have an assigned parking spot and a private entrance. When entering the apartment you will feel like you are in your own little cottage in Maine, cozy full of light and relaxed! There are hardwood floors throughout and high ceilings. Please note, there is a no shoe inside the home rule, feel free to bring slippers. The apartment has AC in the summer and heating during the cold months. This is a historical home with some modern amenities such as a large walk in shower but if you are looking for a new build, this is not it. There is fast WiFi, Netflix and Hulu available. There is a washer and dryer available in the basement but it might not be suitable for those with mobility issues, please be warned. The laundry is open from 7 am to 9 pm.

The apartment was so charming and well kept. Jacqueline was an excellent host, super easy to communicate with, and we appreciated the personalized touches upon checking in. If we come back we would definitely choose to stay here again!
The apartment accurately matches the description and it’s actually even better. It was immaculate and spacious. It was easy to walk for dinner just a block away and easy to travel into Portland to visit sites. Highly recommended.
Our stay in the village was great. The property is managed very well and exactly as described. The owner is gracious and made it effortless. The property is in walking distance of 2 nice restaurants and the neighborhood is beautiful. Highly recommend this place
Very clean, well kept, attention to detail, quiet, comfortable and within a short walking distance of the Main Street. Jacqueline was lovely as well. I would stay there again anytime!
Such a lovely apartment in a beautiful older home in the heart of Yarmouth. Easy walk to coffee shops, bookstore, restaurants and gift stores. We enjoyed walks along the many adjoining streets lined with beautiful gardens and well-kept homes dating back to the late 1700s. Jacqueline is an outstandingly friendly and helpful host. There were even refreshing beverages and snacks welcoming us upon our arrival. Would stay here again, and plan to, for sure!
Spacious and clean. Excellent amenities and attention to details. Jacqueline greeted us at the door. Many shops and cafes within walking distance. Would absolutely come back.
Charming historic apartment in Downtown Yarmouth. Great spot from Wichita visit my good friends in Cumberland. Also not far from Portland. The unit was immaculate and the host had left fresh flowers and wine and other beverages. Very cozy and accommodating!
Absolutely loved our stay here, very cute and clean one bedroom with a ton of space! Jacqueline is a great host, very accommodating and even left us little welcome gifts. This house is super convenient if you’re looking to explore both Portland and Freeport and there’s some real gems in Yarmouth (especially loved our dinner at Gather right down the road). Definitely would recommend this property to friends and would return!
What a lovely apartment. Everything was very clean and well decorated. It is perfect for two people to visit that area of Maine. Host was very easy to communicate with and made renting very easy. Thank you for all the little touches that made it feel so special to stay here. We hope to be back someday.
This is a sweet property. A lovely garden greets you and inside is a charming apartment with many thoughtful touches. Jacqueline is a wonderful host - flowers on the table, an assortment of drinks and goodies, and an interesting assortment of books in the living room. The town is quiet and charming making it a good home base for exploring Portland, a short drive away. Easy walk to "Gather", a terrific restaurant. A very enjoyable stay.
Consider yourself very fortunate, if you have the opportunity to stay here. Quietly nestled in the Village, the space is charming, comfortable and clean. Ms. Jacqueline is a lovely host and creates a welcoming environment. I look forward to staying here again. It's a rare find and special place. Thank you!
I rent all my VRBO’s by traveler comments and reviews. So I like to leave reviews that reflect and are helpful. So, only two things stood out. There’s no tv and honestly, this could be in the description, if you are a “spread your cosmetics on the bathroom counter” kind of person you won’t be able to do it here. There is only a very tiny sink and in the bathroom. I mean tiny- like- large hand size! There is a continuous smell of old basement, but it’s an old home. The location is fantastic the town is very nice and the owner was great! To have parking was also great!!
While the crowds amass in Ogunquit, pass it by and visit Yarmouth! It is small town USA and Jackie’s apartment C made our visit absolutely perfect! A spacious kitchen was a welcome respite from days of travel and restaurant food, where we could prepare our meals with every available convenience. We had a full dining room for eating and planning our days, and then a comfy living room for night time tv. She offers two popular streaming services but I would have liked to login to our other streaming services, I simply watched on my tablet. The one bedroom holds a queen bed with an on suite toilet and shower. My only comment is that the water closet is quite small but the shower is spacious with a modern detachable shower head. This home was spotless! I have stayed in many rentals, hotels, etc. since the pandemic and it seems cleanliness has really lapsed so I was overjoyed at the attention to this detail. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus for us as well. The location is great! We walked to stores, parks and events downtown and drove to other places to visit because if is centrally located on the Maine coast. It was wonderful to see kids riding their bikes all over town - it is obviously a safe space. A very good experience all the way round. Thank you to our host!
Simple but spacious and bright apartment in historic house with a beautiful garden in a historic, quiet neighborhood. Note that the bathroom is en suite, accessed through the bedroom.

This is a fabulous house with irreproachable cleanliness. Madame Jacqueline is a wonderful hostess. Except for the tiny toilet, this house is large with plenty of room to settle in. It also has recent quality accessories making it easy for the stay. Thank you Madame Jacqueline for sharing this property which we truly appreciated.

Everything was perfect; the location, the accommodations both inside and outside. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
We were just fine with it, but if you really need a tv, it didn’t have one. It had everything else.
I stayed at this lovely apartment in Yarmouth for three weeks and had an amazing time. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed. Having a private entrance, parking space and washer and dryer was great. The property is well maintained with flowers everywhere. Bed was comfortable and apartment was very quiet and relaxing. The owner is super sweet and professional and always available. Being able to walk to the historic village was very nice. I highly recommend this apartment.
This apartment feels like a charming cottage- including the garden right outside!
A cozy base from which to visit our new grandson.
Thank you Jacqueline!
