TLDR: The property has a few small issues that should be addressed but overall is spacious and comfortable.
Notable Mentions: The wood for the fireplaces was provided and we loved this. The wifi worked great. Went out one night for a bit when a tree fell but was back up the next day. There were TV's on the patio and out in the covered area and that was a nice touch
We had a party of 10 staying on the property and we all had a good time but did come across a few things:
- There is not a public bathroom on the first floor, just bedroom bathrooms.
- The upstairs bedrooms wall outlets are loose. I had one plug I could use that my chargers wouldn't fall out of. This was very annoying as I had a laptop, cellphone, earbuds and a sleep apnea machine that needed to be plugged in and had to be cycled.
- The living room fan doesnt appear to function as it is out of reach to manually turn on or the switch for it was just hidden.
- The small door for firewood was locked so it could not be used.
- There was no firewood bag or cart to carry it into the house from the storage area.
- The firewood storage rack in the outdoor area is not completely covered so alot of the provided wood (which was awesome) was wet and took a lot of work to get the fire started.
- My aunt said the kitchen could use a few more utensils and some included basic spices(beyond salt and pepper).
A lot of these complaints/suggestions are small and easy fixes that would make a very big difference in the stay.
