About this property

Roosevelt Lodge: Majestic Lodge with Everything to Make your Perfect Vacation Great!

Roosevelt Lodge is named after President Franklin Roosevelt who stood at the Rockefeller Monument in September 1940 and dedicated the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for the enjoyment of the people. When we began renovating Roosevelt Lodge, we kept those words in mind, and it has truly become a place dedicated to the relaxation and enjoyment of the people.

Roosevelt Lodge offers a certain uniqueness that your not likely to find in other large cabins. Instead of stepping out the door onto asphalt, you'll step out onto a lush stone walkway, and instead of being contained to the cabin, you'll be within a few hundred feet of a National Park. Simply put, Roosevelt Lodge is not your average cabin.

Just twenty minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, Roosevelt Lodge is perfect for family reunions, small weddings, and corporate retreats. With seven sprawling bedrooms, several sleeper sofas and bunk beds, and nine and a half bathrooms, the Lodge will comfortably sleep up to thirty-four people.

When you pull up to Roosevelt Lodge you'll be greeted by a 20 x 25 foot open patio space with several rocking chairs, an outdoor television, a charcoal grill, and a gigantic outdoor fireplace. You'll be able to relax by the fire, and you won't even have to miss the big game!

The mother-in-laws quarters, which is attached to the main house by its own covered porch walkway, is equipped with a lounge space that includes plush sofas and chairs as well as two sets of bunk beds. This space has its own television, bathroom, sitting area, dining area, and wet bar. Upstairs you will find a secluded bedroom with panoramic views, a king size bed, a television, several closets, an in-room sink, and a private bathroom with a jacuzzi/shower combo.

The main floor of the Lodge is outfitted with a mudroom that includes a utility sink and a front-loading washer and drier. The mudroom opens up into an extended kitchen adorned with granite countertops, a cooktop stove, double ovens, double dishwashers, double microwaves, a large freezer, a forty cubic foot refrigerator, and all the cookware and utensils you'll need to whip up the perfect meal. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room with plenty of seating.

The main floor living room is a perfect gathering place for your group! You can sit around the lavish stone fireplace, watch TV on the gigantic flat screen television or simply relax and take in the view from one of the rooms many windows.

There are three bedrooms on the main level of Roosevelt Lodge. The first bedroom has two queen size beds, a television, and a pass through bathroom. The second is a master bedroom with a king size bed, television, and a master bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, and a vanity with two sinks. The last of the three main floor bedrooms has a king size bed, a television, and a pass through bathroom.

From the main floor there is a stone staircase that leads up to the library loft. In the library you'll find hundreds of books, all of which are there for your reading pleasure. The upstairs of the lodge is also home to a sitting area with two leather fold out sofas, several plush chairs, and a large television. There are two more bedrooms on this level, both of which have king size beds and their own bathrooms with Jacuzzi/shower combos.

One level down from the main floor is a luxurious game room equipped with a pool table, puzzle table, television, stone fireplace, and a wet bar. There is also a bunkroom with two sets of bunk beds and two full size beds, a leather sofa, and a bathroom. Perfect for the kids! There is one other full bathroom on this level as well as one half bathroom. Last but not least, this level also features a home theater room with seven leather recliners and a huge flat screen television. You won't even have to leave the Lodge to get a full movie theater experience! Indoor fireplace in operation Oct thru March

Family Reunion

This place is amazing! You get what you pay for goes the saying and we sure did!! The place was just incredible, from the spacious bedrooms to the decor to the different outside sitting areas, it was perfect. My family was hesitant to spend that much money for a 3 night getaway, but we are so happy that we did. It is a bit away from the main tourist attractions so if that is what you are into then you may be irritated with the drive, but we just want mostly time together. This allowed us to be together but also gave us soace to be away from one if needed to have some alone time. It's just absolute amazing!
