Charming 2 bedroom cottage

This adorable cottage is within walking distance of Skybridge Station and very close to the Rock Bridge Trail of Red River Gorge. Comes with 2 BR on the first floor, one bathroom with shower, central HVAC, city water, washer/dryer, antenna TV with 20 channels, (does get local stations from Lexington), DVD player, oven, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee maker. All the comforts of home. Upstairs is a lovely sitting area. Each bedroom has a full size bed. Cottage has delightful covered back porch area with relaxing, tranquil view. Outside is a firepit and charcoal grill.

Sorry, NO PETS and NO SMOKING INDOORS. May bring 2 additional children if want to bring an air mattress for the loft.

No loud parties. Owner lives in area and has made this a stellar property.

The cabin does not offer Wi-Fi.

Serenity was the right name!

A great and relaxing refuge that allowed us to explore the Red all day and then wind down in the evening. We will stay there again!

Weekend getaway

We just wanted to have a place to relax and enjoy the weekend. Serenity Ridge was perfect. Close to Hiking trails and places to get a bite. Loves the cozy cabin.

Fantastic isolated location, beautiful inside and out

Everything surpassed our expectations. Only a single roll of TP and two towels. Still a fine place and we’ll worth the price. As close as you can get to the eastern trails and attractions and not me in a tint.

Cute house with all the necessities. We arrived after dark & didn't realize how secluded the house really was until the next morning. Could only hear nature & woke up with the sunrise. Side note, there's a wasp/hornet nest forming above the door on the 2nd story. We did get buzzed quite a bit by them.

The property was mostly as represented on the VRBO listing.It was pretty clean (some of the area rugs needed to washed or vacuumed and some of the floor hadn't been swept.) There was plenty of light, both natural and lighting in the cottage. The location was secluded and private. I didn't like that how far from things didn't seem accurately represented. The 2nd bedroom was misrepresented by a different view of the 1st bedroom. The 2nd bedroom wasn't as private since the kitchen had a window that previously looked outside as a person washed dishes. No problem until the 2nd bedroom was added, and the window at the sink wasn't closed off. It was wide open with nothing more than a fabric curtain dividing it from the kitchen. Not cool. Some of the other photos need updating, but the issue with the 2nd bedroom is what bothered me the most. The grass was a little long.
