The house was very clean and is located downtown of Etowah. The house is older, but nicely remodeled. A plus is the fenced in backyard for pets. Communication with the owner was very easy and prompt. No complaints here.
Very comfortable place to stay. Quick access to the mountains for some of the most beautiful roads to ride motorcycles. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch after a long day of riding.
Loved the porch’s beds were very come .the kitchen is well appointed and easy to move around. The only thing I would suggest is to install grab bars in the shower.Wonderful comfortable
I appreciate the owner allowing pets. This is my primary search filter when looking for a property. With a fenced backyard, a deck and patio that were constructed to contain a pet, I couldn't be more pleased. It's clear the 1902 property has undergone some renovations, like a new HVAC system and second bathroom. That said, there is a faint smell in the house that I attributed to the home's age. I'm sure the owner has plans for additional projects, so do expect some 'older' features, but completely usable. The location was perfect for me as I have family in Etowah. I will say this property is head and shoulders above any hotel you may find in the area. Overall, I would stay in this property again when returning to visit family.
To preface this: there was an issue with my check-in. The host was very accommodating and very kind during this issue. She went above and beyond what I expected. The house itself was lovely and I would be happy to stay there again! It makes visiting family so easy as I have a dog that is a little complicated to say the least.
This house was perfect for our weekend trip to the area. The house was clean and cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed , very cute property, and great communication with the host! Just wish we could have stayed longer!
It was very comfy and just unique and homey. The fenced yard was a plus since we had a dog. The bed was comfy. I would stay there again should I be in the area.
Our family was visiting for a wedding and really enjoyed the cottage. Home was super comfortable, well-appointed, and larger than we expected. Owner was very communicative, friendly, and accommodating!
My mom and I rented this cottage for a church retreat. It was perfect for the two of us. The home was very clean and in a peaceful neighborhood! We felt very safe. We will stay again, if we are in this location in the future.
The cottage was beautiful. Proximity to family was around a quarter mile away. Very clean and accessible. The driveway was a bit narrow for parking for a full size truck. Found a bunch of deck screws and nails on the back deck and driveway. Thankfully I had my shoes on ended up with a nail in the in my shoe. Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely vacation there again next year
We had a great time...House was very clean and had everything we needed..Our furbabies enjoyed the fenced in yard. We will be planning another stay here..
