Why they chose this property
This area of Mehoopany is sometimes called Champion Mountain, so named for the family who once live on our property. The ruins of their old homestead dates back to the late 1700s. The are only about 10 other houses within a mile of the cabin and many of them are our relatives, as one might expect for an old family farm! Some fun activities include: four wineries and breweries within 10 miles, Ricketts Glen State Park, kayaking and canoeing down the Susquehanna with Endless Mountain Outfitters, antique shops, “down home,” family restaurants, and hometown shopping. Groceries and a Super Walmart are only 20 minutes away.
