Gather on the Trent: Discover this true gem! A thoughtfully curated waterfront retreat located on the peaceful Trent River, just minutes from the charming town of Campbellford.
The Space: As you turn off the main road and drive down towards the water, leave all your troubles behind and enter this peaceful escape. The property features 2 separate buildings: the Main House, and the Guest Bunkie. The Main House: The open concept main floor encompasses the Kitchen, Dining, and Living rooms, all leading out to the back deck and waterfront. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, large fridge, kitchen island, dishwasher, and a walk-in pantry. The living room offers lush seating, cozy blankets, a large gas fireplace, and a smart TV. The dining room features a circular table seating up to 8 guests, a small bar, and a hutch, all overlooking a beautiful view. Alfresco dining is highly encouraged, with an outdoor dining table on the back deck, complete with a BBQ, gazebo, and optional netting to keep pests at bay. Bedrooms: Primary Bedroom: Queen bed, full ensuite bathroom, private entrance to the hot tub. Bedroom #2: Double bed, located across from the full bathroom. Bedroom #3: Bunk beds with two single beds. The Loft: Accessible via a steep built-in ladder, featuring three single beds.
Bedroom # 4 is located in the Bunkie outside. Please note it does not have its own bathroom. Bathroom Recap: Two bathrooms in the main house. One off the hallway with a shower/bath combo, and the primary ensuite featuring a deep bathtub with shower.
Outdoor Amenities:
Enjoy a variety of activities right on your doorstep! The grassy yard leads to the calm, shallow waters of the Trent River—perfect for wading or a clear swim from the dock.
If you’re feeling adventurous, we have you covered! We have kayaks, a canoe, a peddle boat, and stand-up paddle boards for you to enjoy!
The Trent river does not allow for motorized boating which makes it the perfect place to paddle or peddle around!
After a day of adventure or local exploration, relax in the outdoor sauna or hot tub, and rinse off in the outdoor shower. As the day ends, gather around the fire pit and enjoy the starry sky.
Guest Bunkie: To one side of the house there is a self-contained bunkie that features a double bed.
Guests have full access to the house and bunkie Guests can enjoy the boats, hot tub, and sauna, after signing a waiver.

Only 1.5 hours from Toronto!!! Campbellford is lovely, quaint little town with beautiful restaurants and lovely antique shops as well. You can walk or bike across the impressive Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge to Ferris Provincial Park! Check out the world`s largest toonie. There`s a running track across the road and a arena should you want to play baseball or soccer as well as a gym. The town is about 2 km from the cottage. There are gourmet stores as well as `no-frills` nearby so you could arrive one day, go to beautiful restaurants that are gorgeous and very reasonably priced and go grocery shopping the next day.
Easy to get there, get around, boat, swim, paddle, ATV, kayak, canoe, or even sail. Here are some cool places nearby. Most people just love hanging out at the cottage and being on the water. Have a look at the guide book as well.
