The perfect property for multiple families traveling together, a girls or guys getaway, large families etc. Located directly on the beautiful Allegheny River, this Idyllic waterfront conjoining house offers two stocked kitchens, two washers/dryers, two living spaces, a little over a mile from the heart of downtown Franklin where you will find many options for shopping & dining. Whatever brings you to town, an event or festival, a weekend of hiking, biking or kayaking, wanting to explore the area Sunrise On The Allegheny is the perfect location for experiencing everything charming Franklin has to offer.

You'll have access to the entire house, located steps away from the Franklin boat launch and OARS where you can take a kayak or canoe tour down the Allegheny River or French Creek.

The house is set up as an upper and lower unit that you'll have complete access. The upper has 3 bedrooms/1 bathroom and the lower has 1 bedroom/1 bathroom, each with its own fully stocked kitchen, entrances and washers/dryers. All bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen beds with quality bedding for a pleasant nights sleep. Lots of options with with two living spaces, including having a meal together at the dining table that seats 10.

Enjoy the sunrise from just about any room in the house. Rock on the front porch with a cup of coffee or relax on the deck with beautiful views of the Allegheny River and enjoy the nature that surrounds the property. If you'd like to have a fire, wood is provided, come roast marshmallows! Bring your fishing poles or water toys and enjoy the river!

In the lower unit(bedroom 4), there are no stairs, there's a ramp for entrance, and is handicap accessible throughout, including railings for toilet and shower. Please message us with any questions.

Excellent location and the home was very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and the big windows with a view of the river made cleaning dishes a delight. We also enjoyed strolling through town. Nothing compares to morning coffee on the back deck with the incredible view of the river.

Right next to the boat ramp, right on the river!, a mile from restaurants, easy access to local attractions like freedom falls. Property is immaculate and hosts. Have thought of everything!

Stay along the Alleghany River

My family really enjoyed our stay in Franklin, PA at this property. It was very clean, well-stocked, was accurately represented in the photos and description. We will try and stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Well located and stocked property right on the Allegheny River

Great location. Property is very well stocked with kitchen items, a grill, a deck with outdoor seating, and outdoor seating. Hosts are good communicators and very accommodating.

Had a good stay, just what we needed

We were in the area for a conference and needed a place to sleep, so opted for this instead if a hotel. Property was as described and as the pictures, clean and well stocked. We went in the winter so the parking situation was a bit awkward and though the property was on water etc had no value to us. It was what we needed and being the area is somewhat remote this was a great option. Would consider staying again. The owners have great communication with prompt responses to any questions.

Extended family get away

This property was very well supplied with kitchen accessories and spices as well as linens. The tv was a smart tv and lots of platforms to watch movies on. A beautiful view and access to the Allegheny river. Our group kayaked several miles both Wednesday night and again on Friday afternoon.

Great Place and Location

The house was marvelous and it's location was great!! Right on the river with two fire pits and chairs, right next to OARS kayak and canoe rentals and an easy trip into downtown Franklin!! The house had everything we could have possibly wanted or needed!! It was super clean with lights and A/C on when we arrived in the evening and the beds and furniture where very nice and comfortable!! Great communication just added to the overall positive experience! Thank you so much, we'll be back!!

Great property !! We were in town for our daughter's wedding and needed a place close to the venue. We only stayed 2 days, and never got to see much, as we were in & out all weekend. It definitely felt like home though!!! We are definitely thinking about coming back in the spring to do some fishing. Nellie and Thomas were very accommodating to our needs. Thank you !!!

Exceeded expectations

Sunrise on the Allegheny was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The host has thought of absolutely everything.The kitchen was fully stocked with good quality cookwear and utensils as well as spices, coffee, tea and paper products. It is centrally located and during the week we rode bikes, went kayaking, played pickleball, went swimming, played golf and disc golf. The back deck with its view of the river was my favorite place to start the day with a cup of coffee and then yoga. We will definitely be back next year!

Family get together

We had a great 4 nights at this picturesque property on the Allegheny. It helped that it was a sunny, warm, fall weekend. We rented the entire house and enjoyed the upper fire pit and yard each night. Very comfortable outdoor rocking chairs! The only downside was that the upstairs was warm for sleeping, since there is only one a/c unit for the upper floor (located in the bathroom). ( And one unit for the first floor, which seemed to cool fine.) We will definitely rent again, but never in the summer. We would also only rent the whole house. The setup of the house would make it awkward if someone unknown was renting the lower unit and we were trying to share the yard, grill and porch. But overall, we would recommend the property.
