Perfect stay for those wanting a quiet and convenient place to stay in Dunedin. Easy drive to the beach and short walk to the Toronto BlueJays minor league stadium.
The cottage was very clean, nicely remodeled and the location was great. The bike trail was next to the cottage and it was a short walk to Dunedin’s very nice downtown. Denay and Michael are great hosts. I hope to stay there again.
Wonderful bungalow how interesting the county bought the property retention area Sarasota county cor
This place was just what I was looking for small and comfortable, but had all the conveniences coffee maker, microwave, etc. loved it. It was also nice and clean and close to the bike trail, which was awesome.
The hosts were very accommodating. the bungalow was cute and had everything we needed. It was right next to the Pinellas Trail so we could walk to everything.

Perfect location, you can walk or ride bikes to everything. Beaches are a short distance too. Hosts readily communicate at your request. We loved our stay!
The bungalow is a great spot for your Dunedin vacation. Situated right on the Pinellas Trail with less than a five minute walk to the west to catch the sunset, and less than a 10 minute walk to the north to Dunedin's charming downtown (food, gifts, and more), or hop in your car and your just a few minutes away (east) from Dunedin Lanes to bowl a few frames with their friendly staff. The bungalow shares a courtyard with the main house (also a vacation rental) and I spent many an hour enjoying the weather and reading. The owners also make bikes and other amenities available to enjoy the outdoors. Inside the bungalow it has a small kitchen (yes, with an actual stove), wall unit AC (which does keep the space cool), ceiling fans, and a nice Florida theme to the overall space. There is also a washer and dryer in a utility room next to the bungalow. Would recommend this property to folks.
This cozy property is tucked away near downtown and beautiful natural scenery. It’s just the right size for a comfortable stay, with all the amenities you need. The highlight is the spacious patio, perfect for enjoying nature in privacy. With nearby access to a Pinellas trail, downtown Dunedin, and the oceanfront, this charming home offers the perfect mix of convenience and tranquility for a memorable getaway. We highly recommend this property & hope to be back!
Best location in Dunedin. Steps from Pinellas trail, 10 min walk to Main St. downtown or even less to waterfront Edgewater Drive. Small unit that was generally clean and quiet. We did have a few millipede encounters inside the unit, and the bathroom window seemed to be open to the elements behind the painting, but otherwise a great stay. We were 2 adults + 2 medium sized dogs for 6 nights and were comfortable.
Very clean and close to the ocean (3 min walk) and the quaint town of Dunedin -10 minute walk. Some lovely restaurants in town including the Fish Camp , Cafe Alfresco and Wild Iris cafe (breakfast). The town is recovering from Hurricane Milton and welcomes all tourists. This rental did not appear affected by the hurricane.
Worth noting that the unit is a good size for 1 propane but the bed is a little cramped especially if you are tall or broad.
It might have been better but the weather turned cold

I’m actually pretty disappointed to lose stars due to the weather. Especially since we travelled to the home to walk her through accessing the tv, internet and heater.
It was a very clean place. And great for small pets. The trail is right next to the house so that was very convenient. The only negative and why I didn't get five star is that the Wi-Fi kept on going in and out my whole stay. During the day I worked outside so that was fine, but at night as I was getting ready for bed you couldn't really watch the TV without several interruptions, due to a drop signal. They had a repeater to get the signal to the back unit and it just was not strong enough. I did inform the owners at the beginning of my stay. Everything else was great!
The Old Florida Cottage provided a delightful stay!
We evacuated from Hurricane Milton to northern Florida and were storm fatigued when we arrived in Dunedin to finish up our wait for electric restoration at our home in Gulfport. The Old Florida Cottage provided just the respite we needed to relax from the stress and rest. The bedroom was very comfortable with fresh linens and extra pillows. We were able to cook up some tasty meals in the adorable, well appointed kitchen. The 50’s era tile bathroom and huge shower were a delight after the cold sterile hotel we had just left. Everything was super clean, our hosts were very cordial and accommodating. There was even a basket of toys and blankets for our Bella (cocker spaniel). We will return for a staycation soon. Loved, loved, loved it.

About the host
Hosted by Denay Bartuseck
Amazing locations. Comfort of a true home. Unparalleled customer service. Mike and Denay are local real estate agents with a passion for providing their guests with an exceptional stay in their beloved area. They are happily married with three kids and two pups. They only purchase homes close to a "downtown" area filled with shops, restaurants, playgrounds, breweries and other local attractions. They have lived in most of their short term rentals, therefore the homes have been tailored to be a true "home away from home".
Why they chose this property
It is located across the street from The Blue Jays stadium and on the Pinellas Trail. It is two blocks from the ocean with bench seating to watch sunsets.
What makes this property unique
Well established short term rental on other websites with super host status.
