Based between Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Silver Gate, Montana, they have chosen this location for its proximity to Lamar Valley and its extraordinary access to wildlife and wilderness.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because of the unique character of Silver Gate. It's a town that is frozen in time. It's quiet, charming, and is a true reflection of western life in the Rockies. The Lamar Valley Cabins are near Yellowstone’s Northeast Entrance, yet worlds away from the congestion of more heavily trafficked areas. With immediate access to Lamar Valley, widely regarded as the best wildlife viewing area in the park, this location allows guests to experience Yellowstone at its most authentic—early mornings, open landscapes, and a true sense of immersion.
Our homes are easy to access year-round; a short stroll from the ice cream shop, the Log Cabin Cafe, the town park with play structures, and a short hike right out the back door takes you to Silver Falls, the town waterfall.
Silver Gate has none of the hustle and bustle of other border towns, and we've been told Lamar Valley Cabins is one of Yellowstone's best-kept secrets.
