My husband and I took our granddaughters to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for spring break and stayed at this cabin. The cabin was spacious, providing plenty of room for each person to have their own space while also being perfect for family gatherings. It was nice and quiet. We had things to do when we stayed at the cabin. The only thing was the main shower/bathtub leaked thru the floor to the basement the first day. . We told them right away. I'm assuming they had it fixed after we left.

We had a wonderful time celebrating a 50th birthday and Thanksgiving at Hugging Cubs Hideway. The house was homey and comfortable for 8 adults and our 3 dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Easy access to terrific restaurants and Smoky Mountain National Park. The owners are very helpful and responsive. We would stay here again!

The cabin was spotless and hot tub great in the cool evenings. Kitchen well stocked and the king beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and the video game machine in the red room downstairs. It was far enough from the crowds but yet in easy driving distance to anything.

We had a wonderful stay at Hugging Cubs Hideaway. We enjoyed the mountain views in the distance while surrounded in the lush wooded surroundings. The cabin was tidy and fully prepared for guests. Located just 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, it offered unbeatable convenience. My mother-in-law has mobility challenges, and the covered carport plus a single step into the cabin made it exceptionally accessible for her. We also loved the game room in the basement. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a very nice stay at Hugging Cubs Hideaway. Location/View 9/10Bedding 10/10Seclusion 10/10(very private)Access 7/10(we had difficulty operating the keypad in the dark, the owner responded immediately with help but should replace with a newer keypad that is illuminated for night access)Hot Tub 7/10(had a leak that we had to fill almost daily to prevent it from running with no water in it)Parking 10/10Cleaning Supplies 4/10 (left us with just one roll of paper towels and NO counter top cleaner. For future guests reading this review, we’d like to provide a little clarification: • Keypad: We responded immediately when assistance was requested and ensured access without delay. We are currently evaluating an illuminated option for even easier nighttime entry. • Hot Tub: As soon as the leak was reported, we arranged for service. The issue has since been addressed to prevent recurrence. • Cleaning Supplies: As a short-term rental, we provide starter supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) to get guests settled. These are not intended to last the entire stay, as most guests prefer to purchase specific products they’re comfortable using. • Amenities: Missing pool balls and the sauna handle were not reported during the stay, but have now been corrected. We appreciate knowing so we can fix things quickly. • Hot Tub Towels: We provide a set number of towels per stay and are always happy to bring additional towels when requested.
