About this property
Recently Remastered Beachside Boat House STEPS from the Ocean with HEATED pool.
Recently remastered in 2018 and again in 2025, this quintessential beach cottage combines the charm of a 1950’s St. Augustine home with modern coastal flair. Just three houses from the ocean on A Street, this location is as good as it gets and puts you in the heart of Anastasia Island’s vibrant beach district while offering the privacy of your own resort-style retreat.
Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms and two baths, tastefully decorated by a local design team with accents inspired by St. Augustine’s coastal heritage. Many of the details are repurposed from boats and iconic local establishments, creating a chic boathouse theme with plenty of charm. The expansive kitchen is fully stocked and features all new appliances, wide-plank oak LVP flooring (2025), and a Jura coffee maker for your morning routine. Both bedrooms and the main living area feature Smart TVs, fresh linens, and stylish furnishings, while the master bedroom offers direct access to the backyard pool with a beautiful view.
When it’s time to relax, the large heated saltwater pool awaits in a lush, private backyard. An expansive covered porch and poolside cabana provide plenty of shaded lounging areas, while the front porch offers a perfect spot to sit back and watch surfers and families heading to the beach.
From this location, you can walk to some of St. Augustine Beach’s most beloved restaurants and bars, including Mango Mango’s, Stir It Up, Kookaburra coffee, and the oceanfront Beachcomber. For added adventure, hop on the provided his and her’s beach cruisers and explore the shoreline or ride down to the St. Augustine Pier, where you’ll find the weekly farmers market, fishing, bocce, and a splash park for kids. Bikes, boogie boards, beach towels, and children’s toys are all included for your enjoyment.
The Beachside Boathouse is designed with your comfort in mind, blending simple, chic beach living with the unique character of St. Augustine. Whether you’re looking for lively dining and nightlife just steps away, or a quiet day floating in your private saltwater pool, this home offers the best of both worlds for your coastal getaway.

About the host
Hosted by Rex Miller

We’ve been visiting the area for 25 years and absolutely love to spend time here. St Augustine is truly a gem in so many ways and is undervalued as compared to other areas. The weather, restaurants, beaches, history, and things to do truly rival a much larger town. Being on the beach side of A1A and especially on A Street is truly a special location that we would absolutely not trade for anywhere else.
Why they chose this property
The location, style, and on level living with resort like pool area has everything we could ever want. Many new homes in area must be built within setbacks that force vertical and we feel disjointed living.
What makes this property unique
The combination of location, quality, and finishes here are truly unrivaled. A very special property that cannot be re-created. Being built originally in 1958 provides advantage of not having to adhere to setbacks allowing for easy one level living.
