As advertised, a wonderful summer cottage on the lakefront. Quiet, peaceful property with all the amenities we needed for a family weekend getaway. Pier and boat lift were a great plus. Highly recommend and would love to make it an annual trip.

Family time on Green Lake

Stayed a week, house was just like the pictures, beautiful Lake view, nice dock… The owners made arriving simple!! Fun week

The Green Lake cottage was old, but charming. It was located close to the lake and there was a beautiful view from the front porch, which extended the length of the cottage. We also enjoyed the kayak that was available for use. That said, the cottage needs attention and basic necessities for staying were not provided. We did contact the host and came to an agreement as to the basic lack of necessities. Also, the site says Green Lake is a 5 minute walk. The city of Green Lake is actually at least a 10 minute drive. Fortunately for us, the weather was cool in the evening and pleasant during the day. There is no air conditioning, which I did not feel was clearly stated in the description. Even though this quaint cottage has potential, we will not be staying there again.

We had a very nice stay at this rustic cottage. Very homey with rustic charm. The best part is that there is a dock to the lake, with no stairs, in the backyard. We really enjoyed launching our kayaks right in the backyard, along with swimming right off the dock. Our friend was even able to pick us up with his boat. You will trade the lake convenience for no air conditioning (but PLENTY of fans provided), no sheets, towels, toilet paper, garbage bags or washer & dryer. The host is wonderful, but watch out for the cleaning lady. We would definitely return here.
