Tranquil Retreat: Charming Home Near Oaklawn with a Gas Fireplace and a Piano!

Hi I’m Tina, a vibrant 52 year old who has been teaching music in the area since 2005. I decided about 4 years ago right before the pandemic to try and rent out my home during the live race meet season in order to make some extra income. Please remember that it is my personal home, but that I will not be there when you are there. Therefore, it is fully functional with a fully stocked kitchen too. I have enjoyed walking to the races over the past 20 years or so and strollering my son up to The Carousel Club where we have a table. He is now 17 years old but the memories still linger. If you are a family with children, my house would be perfect since his bedroom/playroom is still there. I have left many of his childhood books, toys, and games in his room that has a metal loft bed with a queen size metal bed underneath it. We have always enjoyed playing games, so there are lots of different types of board games in card games located in the walk-in cedar closet in the front animal print bedroom, as well as in the den cabinets beside the fireplace. I also purchased a card table for more seating, when having dinner or wanting to play games. It is located in the kitchen beside the refrigerator and dishwasher. I’m a very energetic and outgoing person and I’m usually out and about if you want information on things to do. I love karaoke, binging Netflix shows, playing on my iPhone, going to the horse races, gaming at the casino, swimming in the lake, boating, water skiing, and more.

I chose this neighborhood back in 2005 because it is conveniently located to everything Hot Springs has to offer. My humble abode sits on a widened street with quiet neighbors who I knew at one point but they have long since moved away or passed away, sadly. My home is located in the Hot Springs School District where I previously taught at several of the schools throughout the district including the high school which is not far away and one of the local elementary schools too where I taught music previously. The convenience of my home to everything that Hot Springs has to offer was the biggest draw. You can walk a few blocks to Oaklawn Resort and Casino or to many popular restaurants too.

My property stands out from the rest around me because of its convenient location just 2 blocks off of Central Avenue down the street from The Best Western Hotel, walking distance to Oaklawn Horse track and Casino Resort. My home is a very clean, comfortable, and quiet place to relax after enjoying everything Hot Springs has to offer.
