About the host

Hosted by Jeff

Host profile image
Jeff Swanson began traveling to this area at a very young age. “We would drive
from our home in Michigan to Venice multiple times a year. My happiest memories are here, walking the beaches, finding shark teeth, and fishing all day on the jetty,” shares Jeff. “I always knew I’d end up in Florida; the question was how?”

After Jeff graduated (with honors) from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Business Management, he opted to serve his community outside Detroit, MI as a Firefighter and EMT for 10 years. He learned skiills that would serve him well later, specifically staying calm under pressure. “This helps in not giving away your negotiation strategy,” he shares. Jeff then went on to work for many years in operating room technology integration and sales, and traveling to 43 states across the country, never
forgetting the beaches in Florida.

Jeff realized he’d found his calling: the art of negotiation and getting his clients the best possible deal. “I love finding income producing properties for investors, working with former police/fire department members, and just seeing the smiles of my customers after I’ve exceeded their expectations.” Whether buying or selling, Jeff has the experience and drive to bring either type of transaction to a successful close. “I love the listing process: staging, marketing and hosting open houses. Buyers are also fun as I love to narrow down the search and find them the home of their dreams.”

When he’s not busy with his customers Jeff still enjoys fishing and now lives near the beach, as he always dreamed of. He is the proud father of a newborn daughter named Mila and a Doberman named Stark, and as a former hockey player, he’s a huge Detroit
Red Wings fan.
