We came to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The cabin was all we wanted and more. It was cozy and welcoming. I was so impressed with how clean it was and it smelled very good! It was easy to find and close to all the things that we wanted to do. The only disappointment was the access down to the lake seemed to be under construction or repair. We would highly recommend this cabin.
The Lazy Bear cabin was better than the pictures! It was perfect for the relaxation my wife and I needed. Within a quick drive to Geneva on the Lake and other attractions. Communication with Nicole was excellent. She responded personally and quickly. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all of the creature comforts of home. We will definitely being booking the Lazy Bear again!
Loved Lazy Bear Cabin, it was clean and well equipped. The owners thought of everything. It was close to lots of things to do and a water view from a short distance.

The cabin has personality! It was beautifully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Location was perfect to visit downtown. Sunsets over the lake were gorgeous!

The cabin was very cozy and cute. We did have an issue with the coffee maker, and it did not make coffee in the morning.

Hi John, thank you for your review. We are sorry you had trouble with the coffee maker. In the future please let us know, we actually had a spare in the shed.
We stayed for a weekend at the cabin. Communication was smooth, cabin smelled fresh upon entering, clean and very cozy. We explored Ashtabula and the strip on our 1st day and the 2nd day drove to 7 of the covered bridges. The only down fall- not cabin related- is all the steps to get to the water to find it is all rocks and wood. No actual beach area at the bottom. We will definitely book again and recommend!
My husband, 9 year old and myself stayed for 2 nights. The cabin was very comforable, clean, and had everything one could need while traveling. We had been traveling for the several days prior to this stay and really apprciated the comfortable beds and nice linens. My daughter loved the playground being so close and we enjoyed the lake view.
I was extremely happy with the cabin they went above and beyond with some small amenities that was a great touch as far as coffee hygiene items they presented everything wonderfully and will most likely be back next year... outstanding overall
The property looked awesome, and was in a great location. Unfortunately, we were planning to ride our motorcycles there from home, but they were calling for flooding and thunderstorms all weekend so we weren’t able to go.
The property was as advertised. The door lock and entry system worked well, but took a moment of patience to complete unlocking and relocking. Immaculate inside and out and everything in place when we arrived. The A/C and auxiliary A/C were going and it was comfortable the entire stay, even with the 90 degree heat outside. Neighbors were friendly, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. We did not use the TVs and wished the owners had selected a smaller TV so we had more counter space to cook, which was our major complaint. The interior space of the cabin is smaller and more compact than we'd expected and we three adults felt a bit cramped at times. Overall, however, everything worked in the cabin and we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

We had trouble getting into are place they gave us the wrong code and we couldn’t get in or ahold of anyone. One Until 1 1/2 hours later. had to sit on the porch until then. Things happen it all good. Just make sure they have the code correct before you get there

Hi Michael, we sincerely apologize about the code not working for you. We were having issues with the connection of the app that controls the lock. And not seeing your message until later.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the cabin however!
The cabin was in a great location. Everything was very clean and it was very well stocked with everything you would need. Owner was available and very helpful!

Why they chose this property
Welcome to our little log cabin on the lake. A while ago, we rented a lake cottage in northern Michigan and started dreaming about how great it would be to own our place. We finally found this little gem after saving and searching in February 2021. We appreciate you renting, enjoying, and caring for our cabin as we would.
What makes this property unique
We own two identical cabins in this new log cabin community on the lake next to a state park. There is something for everyone here.
