About this property

Beautiful home on Lake Belle Taine, only 1/4 mile from the Heartland Trail and 3 miles to Dorest. This home has it all: 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms 1 with 2 queen sofa sleepers and 2 laundry rooms sleeps 20 comfortably. It's wheelchair accessible with a ramp. This home is made for entertaining. Our home sits on 5 acres on a level, sandy beach with 300 feet of shore, 150 feet of swimming, and 2 docks. This house has all the amenities: Weber grille, 3 beautiful Amish-made picnic tables, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, pedal boat, life jackets and even a great spot for fish fries. The campfire area seats over 20 people, and we even have an outdoor movie theater. This house was made with families in mind!

We also offer weekly pontoon rentals for $250/day.

Family annual presidents weekend trip

Spectacular Property!

Perfect for large groups of snowmobiles with great parking/driveway and easy access to the trail/lake. Cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Well appointed. Comfortable living room seating. Amazing toys for the little people! Such a great place!

Family Christnas

We hosted our family Christmas here this year. The property is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a large family gathering, from the youngest child to the great-grandma. Very child friendly, with a great stairway gate to keep the toddlers safe, and no need to haul the pack and play, high chair, etc. The long kitchen counter with seating for 12 worked out great for feeding kids and setting up for the buffet. 2 refrigeratos were much appreciated! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, so nobody felt like we were always on top of each other. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays including a very large Christmas tree that brought an absolute look of awe from my 6 year old grandson as he walked in the door. We had a memorable weekend, and would definitely choose this property again!

Great spacious gathering spot equipped for large groups

This was an ideal property for my 15 college friends and their adult children attending a wedding nearby. We appreciated having enough chairs and lounge space for the 15 of us. The five bedrooms worked really well as we had a lot of couples, as did the four bathrooms as we all had to get spiffed up at the same time. The setting is beautiful, the kitchen well-equipped, and the vibe casual. There was not the extensive list of "don'ts" you sometimes find awaiting you. Thanks for making this available to us!

We own a diesel repair business/ trucking company in Royalton, Minnesota. My parents own property on Lake Belle Taine and I spent several summers of my childhood in the Park Rapids area. Our families fell in love with the people and the area.

Why they chose this property

We have a large family we needed a large space. Between 2 families we have 4 kids, spouses and grand children a total currently of 15 and growing. Plus all our extended family that comes up to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Besides having no elevation the beach is wonderful and we love the privacy of 5 acres which is rare on a popular lake. My other favorite feature is that this house is wheel chair accessible that was the selling point for me. Having family that are wheel chair bound it was very important that they were able to join in without having to feel a burden we are fortunate to have a medical supply company locally that delivers on Wednesday and that will delivery lifts if needed.
