Charming listed half-timbered house right on the Rur in the historic old town of Monschau. Welcome to the holiday!

You live in a typical landmarked half-timbered house in the middle of the historic old town of Monschau. The Rur flows directly past the house. Through the quarry stone cellar one has direct access to the water (small terrace at the river).

The house was completely renovated in 2014 and newly furnished.

A cozy living room invites you to linger for convivial hours. The kitchen is fully equipped and a large dining table brings all guests to a table.

The cottage also has 4 cozy double bedrooms and 1 bedroom has 1 bed in size 2.00 x 1.40 m.
2 bathrooms with shower and 1 separate toilet provide sufficient comfort, even for larger groups.

Happy days spent in Monschau

All the bedrooms were comfortable and of a good size. The kitchen/diner was well set out with plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Really liked that there was a generous quantity of plates, glasses, mugs and cutlery and appreciated availability of tea-towels and dishcloths. There is a toilet on three of the four floors and bathrooms on two levels - again, much appreciated. We did not use the outside space so no comment on that. Really excellent location for enjoying a few days in and around Monschau and short term parking just beside the house made a great place to offload luggage.

Netjes, midden in het centrum. Voor meer dan 6 wat krap in de woonkamer om te zitten. Met 5 zitplaatsen op de bank en 2 poefjes zit je niet heel relaxed.

Es war ein super Aufenthalt. Wir haben abends sehr schön zusammen gesessen und gespielt. Es ist genügend Platz für 10 Person. Die zentrale Lage war für den Weihnachtsmarktbesuch optimal.

tolle Lage, Kommunikation passsabel

Die Lage des Objekts ist traumhaft, im Zentrum von Monschau mit kleiner Terasse direkt an der Rur. Standard der aussstatung okay, aber alles drin, was man braucht. Leider war die Komunikation mit dem Vermieter anfänglich etwas "misstrauisch". Haben uns dann aber doch einigen können. Fazit: Ein schönes Haus in toller Lage..würde es wieder buchen

Geweldig huis

Geweldig huis op super locatie in centrum Monschau. Weekend in de herfstvakantie. Mooi plaatsje en erg mooi met de herfstkleuren. Wel erg toeristisch. Eten niet overal zo bijzonder en contante betaling. Vooraf kijken en boeken bij de betere(?) Restaurants.

Prima huis op prachtige locatie. Wat informatie over parkeermogelijkheden vooraf door verhuurder zou erg handig zijn. In sommige slaapkamers zijn de gordijnen smaller dan de ramen, zorgt er voor dat je erg vroeg wakker wordt

Top Lage

Wir waren sofort zu Hause. Schönes altes Haus mit Charme direkt an der Rur. Die Zimmer sind alle groß und die Badezimmer neu. Wer wandern möchte, kann vom Haus aus einige Touren machen. Monschau bietet auch viel für ihre Touristen. Man kann zwar nicht am Haus parken, aber es gibt Parkhäuser in der Nähe.

Sehr schön

Haus ist super, große Zimmer. Terrasse für 10 Personen viiieeeel zu klein! Treppe zur Terrasse ein reines Abenteuer. Spinnweben an der Haustür und den Fenstern hätte man regelmäßig entfernen können. Terrasse bräuchte mal einen Anstrich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, sehr schön eingerichtet. Trotz alledem zu empfehlen.
