"Papa Bear's Cottage" is a cape cod-style house with a large back yard and porch for relaxing. You will never know you are one minute from restaurants and town at this quiet retreat. A quiet walking path at the far end of the property is the perfect place for kids to play or ride bicycles. This property has a large covered porch for picnics or storing your ATV or side-by-side. Plenty of room for your extended family to stay together in this retreat.

A short getaway

We had a amazing time in onieda everything that we may have forgotten was only a stones throw away. The property was very clean and Lori was a amazing property owner and extremely helpful.

Mountain biking trip

We took our boys mountain biking at Big South Fork state park and used Papa Bear as our landing spot. Charming home on a large quiet lot, very family friendly and our hostess took great care of us! Highly recommend.

Pristine and Comfortable

Amazing hosts and property. We visited Big South Fork at the suggestion of my daughters astronomy teacher and were thrilled to find Papa Bears house. Plenty of room for our group of 5. The house was immaculate, linens and towels were great. We loved everything about this VRBO and highly recommend if you are visiting this amazing national park.

Great indoor and outdoor experience

My family raved about the aesthetics of the home. They enjoyed the decorative details upstairs as well as throughout the house. The patio was nice and relaxing with swings and floor space. Indoor or outdoor gathering is affordable here. Truly blessed experience.

Such an amazing home!!

I was impressed from the start! I was running late and she had someone go over an d leave l The light on for us. When we walked in we were blow away! The house is so beautiful the pictures don't do it any justice! I love it so much I can't wait to go back! This is the by far the cleanest home I have ever been in! I have a foster son who is 3 and he is a shaken baby with many special needs and this house met them all. There where many beds for us to spread out, the kids room is so cute! Hot water NEVER RAN OUT! And with a family of 6 showers back to back that's hard to keep up with! The owner was amazing helped us out numerous times with suggestions and any questions! We will definitely only come and stay here from now on!

Beautiful and cozy get a way

Our family rented this beautiful home when we were in town to visit family over the Thanksgiving weekend. We really enjoyed staying here, especially sitting on the porch in the rocking chair and swing. The home accommodated 7 adults comfortably. We really didn’t want to leave!

Lovely home in a great neighborhood

We loved our stay very clean, and comfortable very cute house. Close to shopping and restaurants. Lots of outdoor space a nice walking path. We also had some wild life visit us. I would recommend this place to anyone. Our family enjoyed it allot.

Cozy place!

This home is located in a beautiful area! We enjoyed the scenery all around us and the layout of the home worked perfect for our family! The host is amazing to work with as well! Highly recommend this place! It's cozy, lots of room and had all we needed for our stay :)
