This was an amazing house for a weekend with friends!!! The open layout, deck, and fire pit were PERFECT for hanging out. The house was very clean and nice, well stocked, and we loved the cool interior decor. Such a fun place to stay! The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Family Getaway

Our annual family vacation at Missy’s place was our best yet. The house is very welcoming. The well equipped kitchen was open to the living and eating areas with a great view of the property. The house is on a very private piece of land with a fabulous pool. We had beautiful weather and spent much of our time swimming. Missy is a great host. a beautiful bachelorette weekend

a group of seven of us stayed at missy's property for my sister's bachelorette. the house is beautiful, set back from the road and very private. we spent most of our time at the house, floating in the pool or enjoying a meal around the table together. close to both saugerties and woodstock, we were able to order pizza and go out to dinner with ease. all of the instructions and recommendations missy left us were clear and very helpful. i would highly recommend missy's property for a weekend away, whether you are looking to relax or explore the area.

I am a nature lover living in a big city with my family and beagle, Bill Murray. I bought this home to have a personal retreat to share with my family and friends. I love to cook and entertain, watch the birds and spend evenings roasting marshmallows in front of the fire with the kids. I also, spend a lot of time gazing at the stars in a hammock on our porch.

Why they chose this property

Growing up in the Northeast has given me a deep appreciation for all four seasons. I love seeing the leaves turn in the fall, the lushness of summer, snowshoeing through blankets of snow in winter and seeing the flowers bloom in spring. Living in Philadelphia limits our experience. It not only has a brief fall and spring but a non-existent winter. The Catskills have always been the perfect place to experience each transition.

What makes this property unique

I think the reason we bought this house was because all of the trees surrounding the property. They keep the house cool and shaded in the summer and protected and warm in the winter. We also, love the layout. It's nice and compact with a nice open floorpan that is great for entertaining. We have stayed with 3-4 families without it ever feeling crowded. I love that it's on a dead end without a ton of traffic passing through. It's great for the kids to ride bikes or to take a walk in nature without having to drive anywhere.
