This is a lovely property with a large, screened in back porch looking over a green lawn down to a stream. Our family had a fun weekend going to the Shakespeare Theatre in Staunton, doing some hiking in the George Washington National Forest and seeing a movie at the Visulite Cinema. A relaxing and well outfitted stay. We recommend!
The host was very communicative! The home was absolutely gorgeous. You have to be very cautious getting out of the driveway but other than that smooth sailing for getting there. The kitchen was stocked very well and was very helpful for meals. The property is beautiful!
A very welcoming and comfortable place to stay! The host thought of everything and we enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountain with our hot cup of coffee every morning. What a beautiful quiet place to read our Bible, Pray, and get renewed! Thank you Maryam!

Julie, thank you for staying with us and taking care of our place.
We had an amazing stay! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 infants and the cabin was spacious, clean, and incredibly peaceful. The location offers total seclusion and beautiful mountain views, yet you are only 10 minutes from Staunton. The 3 bed/3 bath setup was perfect for us. If you are looking for a relaxing place to unplug in the Valley, this is it. 5 stars!
The cabin was very beautiful and clean and the kitchen was stocked very well. We had plenty of privacy. Which was lovely. My only recommendations are, the kitchen could use some dish towels and maybe a spotlight to help see at night in the backyard.
This was a perfect stay for our family of 4! The property is amazing, and we enjoyed listening to the sounds of the creek both while sitting around the campfire, and also while sitting outside on the screened-in deck. The house was very clean, and plenty of bedrooms to spread out! We very much appreciated the supply of coffee and fixings, as well condiments in the fridge. This was a fantastic stay, and would welcome the chance to come back on our next trip to Virginia!!
We really enjoyed our quick getaway to the mountains. My kids were so sad when it was time to leave. It was nice to disconnect from home and enjoy the outdoors. It was amazing to have a place that my mother could enjoy as well as she does have some mobility issues. This house had everything we needed!
Beautiful and well furnished home! Maryam was a great communicator before and during our stay. We loved feeling like we were in the country while being a short distance from restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We especially loved sitting on the screened porch in the mornings and evenings. We will be back!
Quiet. The creek was nice to hear sitting on the screened porch. The fire pit and grill a little too far down hill for this senior group. Plenty of seating in the living area and porch.Kitchen well equipped. Recommend!
Perfect weekend getaway with the family. Very comfortable, clean and accommodating! Loved cooking with the family, plenty of room and well supplied for the cook. The owners were pleasant, and great hosts! Loved the fire pit area by the creek and the walking trails. Look forward to visiting again, thank you!

You were great guests and thank you for taking care of our place. I also appreciated the thank you note. Hope to host you again soon.
The cabin was perfect for the family members gathering in Staunton for a funeral. The grounds were beautiful and access was easy. The hosts were great communicators for any questions we had.
We came in town for a wedding and knew we didn’t want to stay at a hotel. We came across this cabin and booked immediately! The house was very clean and we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch! Before we left, we explored the stream on the property and talked about how we’d love to.stay again!
Three sisters had a very pleasant stay at this property. The location was perfect right outside of town with mountain views, along the long gravel driveway. The home was very cute inside, airy, and the rear screened porch was divine. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. We were hoping for some open views, and the outside firepit area may need a little updating. Live TV was very limited so we played games, watched Netflix, and had lively conversations! We all enjoyed our stay in Staunton, it's a great place to visit!
We found this property when looking for a place to spend Christmas close to family. The pictures are beautiful but don't come close to doing the property justice in person! The house was well stocked with cookware/utensils and was perfect for us to host our family holiday dinner. The property owner was wonderful and answered my multiple questions about what was on hand prior to our arrival, and even went the extra mile of putting up a Christmas tree and decorations for us - what a nice surprise on our arrival! Would highly recommend not only the property, but also our very gracious and professional host :) We will definitely be staying again the next time we are in the area.
Cabin was beautiful and in a great location...seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere, but really only 10 minutes or so from everything. I would suggest two improvements...maybe a flag or reflector out by the road to indicate where to turn in. Returning at night is hard, until you get to know the area, then it's still a little hard. A handrail is severely needed for walking down to the creek/fire pit area, for the safety of older guests! ^_^
We really enjoyed our stay and everything is as advertised in the listing...Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The owner was very easy to communicate with and was always very prompt with answers to our questions. The only issue we really experienced was upon arrival when we followed our phone's directions and it took us down the wrong road. Otherwise this is a great place, very comfortable and modern with a rustic feel. Everyone in our family was very impressed once we stepped inside and some regretted not being able to stay with us. Would definitely stay here again!
