We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything we needed — plus extra supplies of water, which was a thoughtful touch. The property itself felt open and spacious, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of privacy it offered. Overall, it was the perfect getaway, and we’d definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The house was well stocked and we spent a lot of time on the front porch and playing in the yard. The owners were super fast to respond to any questions.
The property was fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful. The homes served all our needs. Didn't know the other bedroom was a loft , but our 23 yr old son managed fine. Communication with the host was exceptional. The setup is certainly with the renter in mind
We loved this property and the host was great! Very nice cabin, well appointed and although a close drive to everything in the surrounding area, it feels like you are a million miles away from it all. Views of a dark sky and the
We loved staying here. Everything was easy, clean, beautiful, and relaxing. We had so much fun. My kids and dog want to come back. We stayed here so we could go to Herkimer Diamond Mines and Howe Caverns. Worked out great! A really nice place to get away from the crowds. And a great place for stargazing.
Stunning property to retreat to for a weekend. Really nice to walk around the tranquil property and pond. We enjoyed wild raspberries in late June/early July. This was a midway meet up spot for our group of friends (between Ottawa and CT), and we hope to return! Super easy communication with hosts, everything you need in the rental. Thanks!
The property comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids. My children enjoyed exploring the property. We stayed during the Hall of Fame induction weekend in Cooperstown and enjoyed the 50 min drive to the Hall. We told the owners we would be in late and they kindly turned the lights on for us so we could more easily arrive and unload. Would stay again.
This is our second stay at this beautiful property. It is the perfect place for us when staying in the area and is a serious upgrade from the local hotels. The beds are comfy, the cabin is cozy and has everything we need for a smooth visit, the shower is magic and always the perfect temp, and the land is wonderful - especially to stretch our legs and burn off some energy after 2 days in the car with little kids! They love catching bugs out in the field and woods, seeing the fireflies, and then at night - my goodness - the stars are magical. Richard & Julie clearly care about their guests and are delightful, attentive and available. Sometimes visiting family can feel more like a “trip” but staying here helps it feel like a vacation. :)
We stayed here so my husband could do some hunting on the property. It's a great cute, charming cabin. It has everything you need for your hunting trip. My husband enjoyed exploring the land, there's two tree stands. We sat at the nice porch and enjoyed the quiet of the night. There's a cozy woodstove we used on a rainy day. It was exactly what we were looking for. The host was available via text whenever we needed. We will definitely be making this our yearly hunting place!
We had amazing stay (4 adults and 4 children). Propery is beautiful and we enjoyed many walks exploring and learning. We made cinnamon ornaments, gingerbread houses and have cozy fires. Cabin has plenty of space for everyone and hosts have made sure thar you feel at home with everying provided.
It was such a nice touch to have water bottles provided (even though water is drinkable), hosts also provided plenty of paper towels, k cups...
We enjoyed ourselves and had perfect holiday experience weekend with kiddos. We will definitely return. Thank you so much!
