Family stay close to the base

We were here to see our Marine. The property is very close to their on base housing. A few glitches but absolutely nothing that hindered our stay. Everything was very good.

Nice house

Nice house. Meh neighborhood lots of barking dogs too. Listed as more beds. We were there with our other kids and separate beds would have been nice as advertised. Advertised as 2 baths. There are only 2 full. Condiments were scarce. No S&P, no sugar Would we stay there again? Sure. When we need to visit our Marine. It's nice. But not what's advertised.

Close to Base for convenience, but lacking maintaince

If you are looking for a place close to the base while visiting your military family, this place hits the mark!Neighborhood okay, we felt safe. But the unit pictures are dated. Given the rental cost, I expected a maintained and safe unit.Overall, general housekeeping is being done, but this place needs a deep clean. Cobwebs & dust on ceiling fans, refrigerator & trash from previous tenants found. Unit maintenance is sorely needed. Front glass door hinge is broken, owner put a sign up so they know it's not working properly, but didn't fix it.(?) It just needs a new hinge. The BBQ is missing drip pan & dirty with no tools to clean it, Bathroom towel rack coming off wall, and mold forming in shower.Closet door broken, lightbulbs missing from lamps, Bedroom flooring is gaping and loose, Living room furniture has heavy wear, covered with slip covers.Dryer vent not cleaned, but it worked! Good on first appearance, linens provided, kitchen stocked well, (needs a can opener, fly swatter) but owner doing minimal in upkeep.If you are picky, this place will not satisfy your needs. If you can "go with the flow" then you should be okay. Would I stay again? Maybe, as a last option. I will definitely look around for other options based on the rental cost and given the condition.

We chose to not stay do to the neighborhood there was a fight next door as soon as we arrived, the furniture was old worn and not so clean, we ended up renting a hotel. I did send an email asking for a refund or at least 1/2 back but no response. My son's fatherinlaw E-8. Master Sergeant, MSgt. First Sergeant, 1Sgt. even asked what we were thinking. We are from GA and were attending our grandsons 5th bday. I will take this as a loss and learning experience. I can't answer for the host because in fairness to him he probably isn't local. As far as host, i do not have anything bad or deragotory to say.

Our stay at this location was very comfortable. There were a couple of needs cleaning issues but nothing major and I left a note addressing these issues when we checked out of the property.

A great stay!!

Our stay at Piney Geen was very enjoyable. Everything was clean, neat and worked properly. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. There was soap for the dish and clothes washing machines. The bedrooms were well supplied with blankets and pillows The outside grounds were very neat and well landscaped. Even the neighbors were kind. Brandon was very easily reached when we had any questions prior to our stay.. We can't really think of anything we had a real issue with. Definitely for us a five star.
