There was a lot to like about our stay at this property. I'll start with the downsides and then go to the good stuff -
It smells like cigarette smoke downstairs. Not like a guest smoked there last week, but like it's in the walls from years of someone smoking there. It's like it was in the paint. Fortunately it wasn't bad enough to trigger any of our smoke-sensitive party.
My fiance and I left a can of WD40 on the kitchen table. All of the interior doors are new and all of them squeaked and squealed loudly. Like get-up-to-go-and-wake-up-the-neighborhood loud.At least now the downstairs doors don't squeak. Keep the WD40.
Given the lighting in the neighborhood, it would be nice to have better window coverings. It was pretty bright in there.
All in all, not too big of a deal.
The good news is that it was well equipped, comfortable, and configured to accommodate a large group. It was great being so close to Lucas Oil Stadium. It's in an up and coming neighborhood and there was a number of options of walkable places to eat and see. It's close to a nice jogging trail. One of our party is extra careful when traveling but felt comfortable enough to go out for dinner on her own while the rest of us were at the stadium.
Little touches like having coffee and creamer available, or shower products that aren't the cheapest stuff at the Pigly Wiggly. Those are big wins for me.
Overall, a good stay.
