This was a wonderful place to stay. I brought my adoptive daughter, who was visiting from Spain, here for her graduation gift. She was so happy and amazed to be staying here. Lovely landscapes and views over the surrounding fruit trees, pines, and gardens. It was if the family had just moved out; wonderfully stocked with anything we might have needed or forgotten; there were several books about all the local hiking and walking possibilites, books on gardening and plants, and information on local sites. The beds were amazingly comfortable; with warm comforters and plenty of light to read by. Everything worked. There was art on the walls and an endless choice of music. Build by his grandparents, family history is evident everywhere and the painting over the fireplace depicts those first days. The owner continues to work on the property to restore the grounds and continue horticulture with a new direction.
Port Angeles is close and the Tai food we had great. Zach, the owner lives in the area, he is quick to reply, provides answers to all inquires, helps if anything is needed and I enjoy my communication with him. Here you are home, kids are safe from roads and strangers and returning after a long day is a pleasure. I recommend this restorative and lovely place; it is truly special.
