The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The guest quarters were perfect for me: a firm and comfortable bed, a small, but usable bathroom, and a nice little sitting room. Parking on the street was very easy. The owners were great with communication and helpfulness. I'd definitely stay here again.

This apartment is wonderful! It is spotlessly clean and terrifically comfortable. The location is perfect, in the safe and friendly Roseway neighborhood. The local businesses are a walk of a few short blocks away. Exploring the area is easy and very safe. The host communicates quickly and is quite willing to answer questions. We had no concerns about anything while we were there, and we will certainly look to stay here in the future.

The apartment was great! Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our family of three. I would say it seems larger than it looks in the photos. When something minor came up we got a response right away. The owner even gave us some fresh blueberries from the garden! Thanks for a great stay.

Our first vacation with our 5.5 month old and we were pleased with the cleanliness and friendly hosts. Holly brought or daughter some toys upon check in super welcoming.

Awesome place!

This is truly the best VRBO I have stayed at. The neighborhood was lovely. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. Comfy beds and many amenities to make our stay perfect. On top of all that, her property has a garden full of fruits and flowers. Taking our morning coffee outside was the best!

Cute lower apartment

Nice airy lodging with wonderful outside space. Owners were very responsive. Bed was suoer comfortable and AC worked well in bedroom. I was there for work and enjoyed relatively easy commute and easy entry into lodging. Id stay there again.

Tidy & Great communication

The bed in the main room was VERY comfortable if you like a firm bed, which we do. The place was clean, tidy, cozy, and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The hosts were easy to get a hold of for questions. There was tea and coffee, which was very appreciated. The only negative is that the pull out in the living room was not as comfortable as the bed. Overall, a great experience. Thank you!

Roseway Review

The property was clean & comfortable. The host checked in on us via VRBO messages & was available but not needed for problems. There is one bedroom with a very comfortable bed & a nice private garden. There is a fold out single cot which would be fine for a kid or smaller person & was fine for me (not a picky sleeper), but might not be comfy if you are fussy or very tall. The kitchenette has no sink but the host will wash your dishes for you if needed (we did not except upon check-out) nice microwave, Kuerig coffee maker, fridge, plates & utensils & a few condiments were provided. The location is great with tons of restaurants/bars nearby & a Safeway close for groceries. I would stay here again.

An exceptional stay! I was back visiting my one-time home of Portland, delighted to find this respite in a charming neighborhood on the NE side. Close to the airport, yet also accessible to everything the city offers, with plenty available right at hand. The apartment has all the comforts of home, and the hosts are exceptionally accommodating. I will definitely be back!

I’m mother to three exuberant kids and was blessed to be able to move my parents to Portland to be closer to us. You can usually find me maintaining properties, exploring town, hosting gatherings, or hiking. We love this town and its proximity to all that the area has to offer!

Why they chose this property

Roseway is a quiet area where neighbors genuinely care about each other. We are close to all sorts of great eateries, parks, and being off Sandy in NE Portland makes traveling anywhere in Portland easy. We have the best neighbors, old and new, of many ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. While we live in a city, our little corner of Portland is vibrant and has everything you could need. There are so many fantastic restaurants, shops, and parks. Kids run down the street to hang out with friends and to the grocery store, or ride their bikes to one of the many parks in the neighborhood. It has all the amenities of living in the city with a cozy neighborhood feel.

What makes this property unique

This space combines the charms of a 100+ year old home with modern amenities. There's enough space for small families, or individuals who enjoy spreading out in our bright, vaulted apartment hidden behind our home. With tranquil gardens and little touches throughout, we're sure your relaxation will be complete. Also, the location can't be beat! We're close to lots of restaurants, a grocery store, downtown, the airport, and all the major highways without being caught in the all the noise. At our home you get a cozy neighborhood feeling within the city.
