About this property

Recently acquired property that's a work in progress

Hello!

We just purchased this duplex late June 2022 and there are a lot of things that I haven't yet had the time or money to have fixed. I'm sure that doesn't sound terribly appealing but everything works I promise :) I'll be down here for a few months at a time, splitting time between here and our place in Ft Collins, CO. While I'm not here I thought it'd be neat to let someone else use it and help move up the timeline on the upgrades. Pricing hopefully reflects this.

This place is small at 900 sqft with 2 beds and 1 bath. In my opinion, the limiting factor is the bathroom. It's pretty small and I'd be reluctant to try to squeeze four people in there but maybe you don't need that much space. I have a few things coming to try to help with more storage but they're not yet here/installed. New Pictures (Oct 2025)

In the Village of Oak Creek (aka VOC) roughly 5 miles from Uptown Sedona is where you'll find this place. Maybe a quarter mile to the Oak Creek Country Club (several other nice courses nearby), less than a mile to the village grocery (Clark's) and many reeeeeeallly good restaurants. You won't be too far from all of the neat things to do in the area but also won't have to deal with the congestion of Sedona proper.

*** I'm only able to offer 30+ day rentals at the moment (city restrictions, HOA restrictions and possibly state). Please contact me with questions about this as we may be able to figure something out.

Hello! We're Laina and Jon. We've been living in Colorado for the past few years (~22 and counting) and love travelling but our furry friends (3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 donkeys, 11 goats and 11 horses) require someone to be back at the ranch. Laina has been a realtor since 2005 through the ups and downs and LOVES helping people find the a home that fits. Jon does a bunch of boring stuff on the computer for a large telecommunications company.

Why they chose this property

Jon loves (lives?) to ride bikes and Sedona (and the surrounding area) is a great place for that. At a high enough elevation to negate some of the heat of Phoenix, the temperatures are really close to those of the Front Range and Tucson is just a short drive if it gets too cold up here.

What makes this property unique

This isn't the biggest or most luxurious place in Sedona. Not by any stretch but I feel it's livable right now and with time I'll make it even more so. Hopefully my descriptions aren't too negative, I don't mean them to be, but I also don't want to over-sell/over-promise and price gouge.

We had a rental up in Breckenridge (since sold to help finance the ranch) and I miss the connections with people visiting from all parts of the world so I'm excited to share this space with you.
