Sedona Vacation

Very surprised how accommodating the rental was for four adults. Clean, perfect amount of kitchen, living, bedroom, and patio spaces. The kitchen was accommodating to the needs of two cooks (we travel frequently and this is rare). The pricing was fair for the accommodations.

We loved our week in Oak Creek in Sara’s beautiful home. It was very comfy & well equipped with every thing we needed. We didn’t realize how busy Sedona was & were so grateful that we were staying in Oak Creek where it was so peaceful with the red rocks surrounding us. The hiking was amazing & so close by. Would highly recommend this home.

Lovely House in Great Location

This is the second time we've stayed at this house. It's lovely, clean, comfortable, functional with a beautiful view, near trails and near many conveniences. We'll come back again if we can. We love Sedona and the house on White Wing Drive.

Such a great house!

Honestly, we booked this house because of the big fenced yard for our two small dogs, which was indeed great for them and lovely for us. We were pleasantly surprised by the house, which is spacious, well supplied, and very comfortable, and very close to trailheads and good, reasonably priced restaurants. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We liked being 20 minutes to Sedona. It was really perfect.

Nice and Quiet

Home is situated in a great location just outside of the city of Sedona. Easy access to downtown if you are going there. Beware parking downtown is challenging. Access to hiking very close and there are two golf courses. This home is located on one of the courses and the other is back down 179 towards I17. Home was very comfortable.

Hidden Gem

We loved this house. The pictures online really don’t do it justice. It is dated, but it’s very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. We LOVED the fenced, dog friendly yard and spent much of our time back there. It was also a very quiet and private place. Only upgrade I would definitely suggest is a king size bed in the primary bedroom. (A new vacuum would be good, too). We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Location is a plus

As previous reviews had stated the home is in a prime location with access to all Oak Creek and Sedona has to offer. Upon check-in we noticed that although the bathrooms/kitchen were clean the living room furniture and carpet had quite a bit of blond/white dog hair present. Additionally the back patio was very dirty with debris and cobwebs on the patio furniture. We cleaned the back patio and tried to vacuum the dog hair but vacuum was not working so we just covered the furniture and lived with it. After leaving we got a message from owner, Sara, that our deposit was going to be forfeited due to excessive dog hair throughout the house. We called and spoke with Sara to explain what we found upon check-in and suggested she go back to her cleaning crew to question color of dog hair as our dog is black not blond/white. Hindsight is 20/20 and we should have taken pictures of the living room area but we did of the patio, which we have since sent to Sara. And we should have contacted her first thing versus now having to go back and forth on the dog hair issue - lesson learned. Sara was easy to deal with however I am not sure where this all ended up? Hopefully she has got a new cleaning crew.

Great location with a perfect view!

We stayed at 20 White Wing for 5 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Location is so perfect ( great neighborhood walking, walk to Bell Mountain trailhead, and within a short walk to restaurants (try Red Chopsticks...delicious) and the view of Castle Rock from the covered back porch is even more perfect. The house is a bit dated, but very comfortable and spacious. The fully fenced and huge backyard was perfect for our Lab.

Amazing Neighborhood and Great House

I have to say this is probably one of the top 2 places we’ve stayed using VRBO in terms of value for price. The house is very nice with quite a nice back yard and amazing views. The fact that pricing was on par with a much smaller hotel room, yet with all the amenities of a home away from home that one could want just made it even better. You are very close to so many things to see and do. We had no issues with the property or owner, and we had such a lovely time that we are hoping to stay again the next time we head to northern Arizona for an extended stay.

Love Oak Creek Village

We loved the location of this home. Close to some fantastic hiking trails. We cooked just about all of our meals at home due to covid. And we found that the kitchen had just about everything that you would need or want, to be able to prepare meals. Loved the home, and it had a great fenced in yard for my dog. It is in a quiet neighborhood. It is a very comfortable home. I would stay here again.

Lovely setting

This home was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Patio has a stunning view of the Sedona red rocks. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, and close to lots of hiking and beautiful vistas. Kitchen is slightly dated but clean and in perfect working order, and there is a grill for use in the back. Wi fi and phone signal were fine; selections on Dish for entertainment were limited. Coffee, restaurants and amenities are nearby. For those unfamiliar with the area, this home is about 20 minutes from Sedona proper, but it's an easy and beautiful drive. We took our small dog, who came home to Phoenix with Sedona red dust all over his paws from the walks and hikes! A quiet and safe place for a getaway during these difficult times.

Wonderful home with great views of the Red Rocks

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this well maintained property. The location is great! Right in the heart of all the best hiking locations in the area. The owners provide a wonderfully stocked kitchen with just about everything you could need. The house has everything you could want down to the smallest detail. The only small issue we experienced was corrected almost immediately. If you have the opportunity to stay in this location... you won't be disappointed!

At the base of Red Rock cliff...

Fenced yard, pleasant settings, close to Clark's Grocery Store, Gas and C-store for the midnight munchie run, garage, nice, powerful A/C, 2 clean bathrooms, queen-sized bedrooms across the hallway from each other. Place is very roomy. We arrived and it had a very peaceful, nearly mood-altering calm energy to the place. Owner is accessible and helpful. You are about 4 blocks from the closest trail head, it is in the neighborhood. Many more along the 179 going South or you can navigate through to West Sedona and take in Soldier's Pass, Fay Canyon and many others. You really can't lose in Sedona and this home is perfect for a small family or 2 couples.

Great Place, Pictures don't do it justice!

This was a nice place to stay. Quite neighborhood, close to trail heads, great back yard for the dog. We did Thanksgiving there and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. The house was comfortable and warm. There was a bike stand in the garage which helped me out a ton! Thanks for the great stay, the whole family loved it. Nothing negative to post!

Why they chose this property

I have been travelling to Sedona for several winters to soak up the sun, work on my photography and enjoy the plethora of trails both on foot and bike. After many years of visiting Sedona and getting to know the different areas, I decided the Village of Oak Creek was the place for me. With trailheads only a couple of minutes from the home, it literally feels like living in a National Park.

What makes this property unique

What I love about the Castle Rock house is firstly, the absolutely gorgeous view from the the fully fenced yard. Secondly, it is super private, quiet, and incredibly close to the National Forest trailheads. Our home is a clean and comfortable respite, and has all the things one could want without being cluttered. And as a biker, hiker and dog lover, the location is perfect!
