Casa Crónica was conceptualized from its immediate previous owner, Rubén Vasconcelos Beltrán, who was an illustrious Oaxacan who was widely involved in culture, spreading the history, customs and traditions of Oaxaca on television, radio, through a score of books and publications that have decorated him with the award of "Medalla Donají" (Donají medal), with the award of "Oaxaqueño Inolvidable" or the designation of "Cronista de la Ciudad" (Chronicler of the City).

Clean, quiet, spacious and well decorated recommended host.
The apartment was just as advertised. Location was a bit away from the centre but also the noise and certainly within walking distance of everything worth seeing in Oaxaca.
