PROPERTY & NEIGHBORHOOD: Beautifully appointed home in sought after resort community overlooking bay, ocean and Assateague Island. This resort offers so many amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, fishing lake, crabbing pier, kayak docks, clubhouse with state-of-the-art fitness center, game room w/pool table, tennis courts, basketball, picnic areas and plenty of areas to walk, jog, and bike!

The home is spacious and can comfortably fit a large family. There are three (3) large TV's in the home; in Family Room, in Master Bedroom Suite, and in 3rd Floor Loft as well as WiFi. The living room features a brand new sofa set. The clubhouse with pools are located right behind the home making for an easy and convenient walk, especially with little ones!

LOCATION: This gorgeous home is located off rt. 611 in the desirable Bayside neighborhood. Conveniently between both Assateague and Ocean City beaches. Assateague National Park is home of the wild beach ponies! roughly a 10-12 min drive to the beach in either direction.
Frontier Town Campground is just a mile down the road as well which features a water park open to the public as well as other activities such as zipline/ropewalk courses, rodeos and Western Cowboy/Indian Village with FREE daily shows.

Restaurants and Supermarkets are also in close proximity. Headed towards Assateague you will find Assateague Crab House, a local favorite, as well as assateague surf shop and cafe. Headed the other way towards Rt. 50 to Ocean City, there is a Food Lion grocery store and numerous popular local and chain restaurants.
about 5 mins west on Rt. 50 you will also find a Super Walmart with more shopping/restaurants around.

Whether you decide to stay close to relax by the pool or venture out to the waterparks, beaches and restaurants nearby, rest assured you will have more than enough options to keep you and your party entertained!

Although Hurricane Erin prevented some activities and a medical emergency forced us to leave early, the property is great and in a central location between OC and Assateague. Would rent again!

Just what our family needed

12161 Snug Harbor Rd is a wonderful place to stay near the ocean if you have a large family/party. The property is located off the beaten path but near the quaint little town of Berlin MD which lives up to its billing as the finest small town in America. The property is well managed and everything you need for a fantastic vacation is within a ten minute drive. So lock in your dates and make this an annual destination.

Great house!

We loved the house and it was perfect for our 4 kids and extended family. The upstairs room was amazing since our four kids were able to sleep altogether! Bayside is our favorite community, so the pool and tennis courts were a hit.

The house is well stocked, comfortable, and close by wonderful amenities. All of my family members were pleased with where we stayed. We loved that it was equidistant to OC and Assateague, and quiet. Andrea was communicative and helpful. We hope to be back!

Wonderful Family Time

It was a beautiful house and we had a great family vacation. We loved the room that we had. There were games that my children played through out our stay. The ocean was a quick 10 minute ride. It was a great vacation spot and one we will certainly come back too.

Fun Family Vacation

Our overall stay was great! We had a slight issue with the air conditioner but Greg was very helpful with telling us what to do. We loved walking to the pool and spending some time there. We stayed for the 4th of July and was able to go to Ocean City to watch the fireworks! We recommend going to Assateague Island to see the wild ponies! It’s beautiful there!

Assateague Bayview House

A great house in a great location! Minutes from Assateague National Seashore beaches and close to Ocean City restaurants, go carting, miniature golf, etc. This rental was perfect for our family (10 including grandkids). We will try to stay here again if available during weeks we can come! Bayview's pool and playground is a couple of minutes away walking. Such a great community and house to spend a week at the ocean!

Great weekend getaway!

Me and several friends planned a last-minute get together to Ocean City, MD and came across this property. While it's a bit further away from the main island, that's actually the appeal of the location! The neighborhood is super quiet and really nice, even having a view of the bay at the very end of the street which you can walk or bike to. The house was clean, had plenty of space for everyone and the check-in process was super easy. Thanks again for an awesome stay!!

Very homie vibe

We are a party of 3 group of families looking for a short getaway for a three days two night on labor day. Stumbled across I found this decent looking house on VRBO. Love the house is very spacious with a nice huge kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you needed. The location is very convenience for supermarket and restaurant and also ice cream shop! The boardwalk it's15 minutes away!

Short stay vacation

My family and my sisters family stayed here for 3 nights. This place is nice and as described. Plenty of room and the upstairs loft was great for the kids. A couple small issues but nothing that ruined the trip. Andrea was responsive. I would recommend this home and would stay again. My biggest complaint was not with the home itself, but with the people in the neighborhood FLYING up and down the street. Everyone speeds thru there. Watch your little ones!

The house is dirty dirty dirty

The house needs to be cleaned thoroughly - there is dust coming out of air vents and all over the metal blinds that the many beds are up against. The carpets and mattresses were permanently stained, the rugs were not vacuumed and the powder room walls on the first floor had grimy goo all over them. The cleaning company should be fired and the house needs new carpeting, mattresses and living room couch. We would not rent this house or any house from this rental company again.

Great stay!

The home was great, and the property manager was very communicative. There is a lot of construction around the home, which meant I couldn’t give my kids the permission to ride their bikes as freely as I normally would. The amenities are close, but there isn’t a true walkway, so it’s a bit awkward walking through other properties to the pool area, etc. There were a few items in the home that felt poorly managed, such as the broken screen door, the shade being cut around the door knob, the upstairs attic area had a door that was falling off and unlocked, which felt unsafe for the kids. Additionally, I purchased the full home linen package, but didn’t realize that it didn’t include towels - so I had to bother management, and pay extra, for our group to shower. There isn’t extra toilet paper, paper products, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags, etc in the home, so be prepared to bring those. Overall, the home is nice, though - and well located.

This place is wonderful! My family and I stayed for a week. Right between assateague and oc. We should have booked our pontoon boat earlier but that is not the hosts fault! Definitely considering a second trip!

Great Assateague Island Location

The location was great for quick access to Assateague Island beaches. It was also convenient if you wanted to go to the end of the boardwalk in OC. The bedrooms were nice and the kids loved the loft. With 10 people we had to rearrange our eating plans to get everyone together but it was doable. The outdoor pool and clubhouse were great.

Assateague the hidden gem

With young children and the recent pandemic, we've found Assateague to be the safest place to enjoy our summer vacation.. The Bayside community has so many property options. This property was very roomy for a group of 12. Everyone had a bed and a private or semi private area to retreat to. With this many people having 3 full baths plus a powder room on the first floor was ideal. Communication with Greg was a breeze. He would reply almost immediately to any questions we had during our stay. He earned 5 stars :) Thanks for the opportunity to stay at this property and make wonderful family memories!!
