Home has TWO PRIVATE master bedrooms and two separate living areas, there is room for everyone to do just as they please! Sunbathe poolside or sit on either one of two covered decks and enjoy the cool sea breeze. When you are ready for a stroll, follow your private beach access with private boardwalk to the beach and plunge into the Gulf's blue-green waters.

Amazing week!

SGI never disappoints and The Reel Deal held up its end of the bargain! Everything about the house was as described and if I had to pick an area of improvement, it would be to provide 2 bath towels/washcloths per person.

Great house for families

The property is well kept, and a great location for families to enjoy a week at the beach. The house and pool were clean and inviting. The beach wasn't crowded, and overall we had an enjoyable week.

Perfection!

I cannot praise this property enough! My family and I have stayed on the island for almost 30 years and this is by far our favorite house. The location, the floor plan, the cleanliness, and the host are exceptional. I cannot wait to book for next year.

Great beachfront home

Loved the ability to park under the house and keep our cars cool. Home was very clean. Plenty of seating in open main floor for relaxing and eating. Beach was marvelously uncrowded. Great outdoor spaces.

This property is spacious with every amenity you need. The beach and view are beautiful. You literally are steps to the beach. The owner touched base frequently and was so helpful.

Large open house with the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever seen in a rental house. It was very clean

This beach house was perfect for my family! Lots of bedrooms and privacy for all. We loved the uncrowded beach that made us feel the beach was our own. There was outstanding communication from the owner who helped us with a couple of minor issues. We would love to visit SGI again!

We had a wonderful time at the Reel Deal! We loved being right on the beach with our 1yr and 3yr old sons! House is very nice and Gordon was very easy to reach and took care of any issues immediately! Loved it and definitely want to come back! I would highly reccomend this place!

A Great Spot!

Loved this property. It was very well appointed with all the needs for a great beach stay. The pool was wonderful and being within the plantation was quiet and peaceful. We were welcomed by Dolphins on our check in day and got to enjoy seeing them all week long. The host was very gracious and attentive and made sure everything was as requested. We took our family (all adult children and spouses) with us and they also greatly enjoyed the property. Loved the fact that we could walk out on the back deck, down the steps and be at the beach or pool. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

We had an amazing week on beautiful St. George Island. The home is in a perfect location, accommodated six adults perfectly allowing us all our own bit of privacy. The pool is larger than most private home pools and we definitely enjoyed it. It would be nice if there had been some lighting for night swimming. All in all we had a great vacation.

Perfect trip!

Traveling with children, it's rare that a trip meets my expectations, but our stay at A Reel Deal was wonderful. We were steps from the beach and could go put our toes in the sand for five minutes or two hours without much preparation. The house was lovely, and we absolutely loved the pool! We fully utilized the kitchen, and there was more than enough room for our family (5 adults and 2 kids). We've already talked about going back!

Wonderful experience!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving week at this property. It is clean, well appointed, spacious, and easy to enjoy! it worked perfectly for our family of 3 couples and 1 infant. Gordon is kind and communicative! We will definitely book again!

This was our 3rd trip to this house and this Island, once again it was a wonderful time, we had most of our kids and grandkids for this trip and everyone was sad to have to leave and go home. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a beach that feels like it is your own private beach.

Truly is the Reel Deal!

Beautiful property! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the beach front view, the pool, and great biking paths in the area (just outside the door). Gordon was super responsive and great to work with! Beautiful House with Exceptional Views

We had a wonderful and relaxing anniversary trip. The house is gorgeous and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The views of the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. We also enjoyed floating in the pool. This house would be great for a family. The owner, Gordon, was in touch throughout our stay and that was nice. I highly recommend this property.

Summer kick off

The Reel Deal was the perfect setting for our annual family beach trip. The views from the house were breathtaking. The short walk to the beach, quiet surroundings, and location made this the perfect getaway for six adults and three toddlers. There was plenty of room for gathering and privacy when needed. We enjoyed family meals indoors and outside on the porch. Can’t wait to do it all over again!

What's not to love?

This beautiful home has the perfect view of the ocean. It was spacious, had everything you need in the well stocked kitchen and decorated beautify. Loved seeing pictures of the Stark family in their beach home. The pool was enjoyed by everyone when we were not on the beach. We hope to return in 2024! Beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay in the Plantation. The house is beautifully located with an easy private beach access. It has great areas with large tables inside and out to gather and spend time playing games, dining and just sitting enjoying the beach views. The pool is a really nice asset. We met our adult kids and enjoyed the beach, played lots of Pickleball and spent time biking, etc. The only issue we had was the first evening checking in due to housekeeping and linen service being very delayed. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend The Reel Deal.

Gordon is very responsive and helpful. The house, pool and especially the location are wonderful. Why did we give it a 4 on expectations? There were some broken items we believe should be replaced before new customers come in. Would rent again. YES!

Uncrowded, natural beaches, free from high rises, traffic and crowds, offer many simple pleasures – excellent fishing, kayaking, outstanding bird watching and awesome star gazing – just to name a few. And the beaches are pet friendly, so no one gets left behind at vacation time!

The Gulf of America, The Apalachicola Bay and the Apalachicola River converge to form one of the most productive estuaries in the world. These island waters are nationally recognized as a fisherman’s paradise. Fresh oysters and sweet, plump shrimp are harvested locally and sold at the numerous fresh seafood dealers. You may also enjoy these seafood delicacies at the excellent restaurants on St. George Island and nearby Apalachicola and Eastpoint.

There are a number of full service marinas and public launch ramps available in Apalachicola, Eastpoint, Carrabelle, and now on St. George Island.
