Within walking distance of the Akureyri golf course and the recreational areas of Naustaborgir and Kjarnaskógur Woods. Akureyri serves as an ideal base to visit all the major sights of north Iceland, e.g. Mývatn, Dimmuborgir and the Myvatn Nature Baths, Godafoss and Dettifoss waterfalls, the charming town of Húsavik with its superb whale museum and whale watching boat trips. Ásbygi, one of Iceland's gems is also within easy reach.
Akureyri offers a vast selection of interesting museums of times passed and of some of Iceland's best poets and writers. The ever so popular Akureyri municipal swimming pool is also close by.

Very good stay!

The flat is wonderful, very practical and we felt like home straight away. We appreciated a lot the fact that it was furnished and the variety of ustensils, the space in each room, the brightness and the storage spaces in the bedroom. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a flat with all convenience.

Beautiful condo in Akureyi. Very clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer was great to have to do laundry. Manuals would be helpful. Owner was very responsive and helpful with suggestions. Would stay here again if we come back to Akureyi!

Beautiful and spacious apartment

This apartment was a perfect place for exploring Akureyri. It is clean, modern, and had everything we needed for relaxing and for preparing meals at home. It has beautiful views but also is close to a grocery store, trails, etc. We even walked to the Botanical Garden and to downtown area. Our host was very responsive, communicated well, and provided excellent information and instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment!

We loved this apartment. It was approximately a mile from downtown, a quarter mile from the grocery store, and in a quiet neighborhood of apartments. Everything was exactly as described! The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of supplies for cooking. Check in and check out were very clear and easy.

We verbleven 4 nachten in het mooi onderhouden appartement. Het is een ideale uitvalsbasis om de fantastische omgeving te bezichtigen. De diamanten cirkel is mooier dan de gouden cirkel ... Het appartement maakt deel uit van een gegroepeerde reeks van appartementen, maar de rust was nog aanwezig. Alles was in orde.

Amazing beautiful place and wonderful location

The entire family couldn't picture a better place for us as a short term rental in Akureyri. It's clean, beautifully arranged and minutes from downtown. All the comfort and aminities a family exploring the Ring Road could ask for. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Cabin on the Lake

This is the second time we’ve been to Iceland and we absolutely loved this beautiful cabin. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the owners was great. We loved the lake views, the hot tub and the peaceful neighborhood. Super close to Þingvellir National Park and Selfoss. We would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic surprise with views of the mountain valley, open kitchen with spacious dining and living areas. Very clean and great design. Separate sleeping area perfect for kids or those who don't want to enjoy a little late nights while the rest do! Perfect for families with a big yard and friendly neighborhood children. Only a :20 min walk to old downtown also!

Great stay for families-beautiful, clean apartment

We are a family of 5 and we stayed for two great nights at Akureyri. The apartment was very comfortable for a family. It was very well organized, fully equipped with all the things you might need for a self catering apartment. It was also vey clean, with fresh linen and towels. There were instructions for everything and it was easy to operate all the utilities; TV, washing machine, dish-washer, etc. In summery for families or groups of adults, the apartment is very recomended.

Overall it is a very nice appartment. Big rooms and sleepingsrooms, nice bathroom and indeed the whole appartment is fully equipment. That is including a washmachine and dryer. We have already recommend the appartment to others! The kitchen is what you like to have if you like to cook by yourself. Enough cups and plates, maybe a bit less cooking pans. But with a grill outside. The whole appartment is clean and new, so no smelly cubboards.

Fantastic Akureyri stay

This was our second time staying in this apartment and as with the first time it was fantastic. Everything we needed was provided and it was very clean. The area is so wonderful with so much to see and do. The public pool down the road is not to be missed. The town has delightful coffee shops and restaurants. We would love to come back again! Hemos estado encantados durante nuestra estancia en el apartamento del primer piso; desde el que se veia unas bonitas vistas hacia el campo de golf y las montañas. Zona residencial tranquila cerca del centro de la ciudad. Apartamento muy limpio, comfortable, bien decorado en lineas modernas y sencillas, bien cuidado y equipado (solo echamos en falta un secador de pelo y una plancha). Las camas eran nuevas (colchon y tapiflex incluido), ropa de cama de calidad y en buen estado. Detalles y comodidades de todo tipo en la cocina. Grandes ventanales. En resumen muy recomendado para los que buscan calidad, comfort y limpieza
