The word "glamping" (or even "cabin", really) are a bit of a stretch for this experience. The property consists of one shed that has been converted to a bedroom and small dining space, an outhouse for showering, and an outhouse restroom, with a secondary shed to accommodate larger groups. If you are looking for a peaceful "in-the-woods" experience, note that you can hear the road noise at all times and are located close to several neighboring properties, though you could also hear bird songs in the evening.
The bed here was extremely comfortable. The location was close to town and easy to access from the main road, even at night.
As a woman travelling alone, I was concerned by the lack of an internal lock on the door to the shed/room and by the lack of curtains on the windows at night. I did not use the shower facilities, so I cannot attest to those.
The property served my purposes - offering a relatively safe and comfortable place to crash in the evenings. However, I had no interest in spending any time outdoors there or at the property for any extended period of time.
If you're looking for an idyllic outdoor setting to relax in, look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a very comfortable bed and a clean, decent place to crash close to town in the evenings, this place will definitely fit the bill.
The property was as described, in a good location for our needs. Leaving the windows open on hot days while you're out helps as it gets very warm inside, with little air flow. The fan (provided by host) helps cool things off, but it takes a few hoursIf i was a solo female traveler, I'd probably be a little uncomfortable that you can't seem to lock the door at night while sleeping (unless i missed it? ).
This little cabin is super nice! The bed is really comfy and the fresh wood smells fantastic. As long as you are aware that the cabin is very simple, and you will be using a very clean outhouse, you will definitely enjoy your stay.
We loved this property! We stayed here for our honeymoon and while we went to the mauic festival in White Fish. Kim was very kind and worked with us by allowing us to stay when it should not have been listed. Highly recommend!
