Ponderosa Cabin Columbia Mountain Ranch

Located at the base of Columbia Mountain our Cabins are only minutes from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Flathead lake and many other destinations in the Flathead Valley.

This rustic cabin comfortably accommodates 2 guests and is equipped with a small kitchenette (2026 glass dishes shown in photos will be replaced with disposable) and a Traeger pellet grill on the covered deck.

Men's and Women's showers and rest rooms are located across the foot bridge in the main service building as the cabins do not have plumbing.

All cabins have heat and A/C

Great place to stay

This was an excellent stay. A lot of activities on the property that are free and easily accessible to guest (cornhole, badminton, volleyball, fishing, fire pit, paddleboarding, and nice grill). Hosts were great. Very responsive and super friendly. Stay was in a beautiful location about 30 minutes from the west side of glacier national park.

Gorgeous Views and Convenient

We are a family of four that traveled to Glacier for the first time. The cabin was the perfect place to relax after time on the road. All beds were comfortable and the cabin itself was clean. The trail that leads to the bathrooms was lit and easy at night. We loved the location with easy and quick access to the park and nearby town.

Family owned operation the facility is exactly what we needed the cabin is cute and clean with everything you need to relax and enjoy. Great stay and great service This cabin has Trager Grill, bring yourself some steak, chicken and some beer, nice and quite place. It made you feel like you live in the forest.

Beautiful land with charming cabins, nice bathhouse and laundry. Small lake/pond with kayak and SUP. Beautiful sunset with mountains behind, bonfire in the evening. Highly recommend! We did not get a welcome email we were supposed to get, but once we got there the hosts were available and accomodating.

Fun

The people who were there seemed to really enjoy it but it probably isn’t for everyone. Think more hotel room with no bathroom. I can’t imagine telling children that have to make a nature call at night to walk the 25-50 yards. Cooking is kind of strange also if a bunch of people want to eat at the same time. That said, I liked it and the owner was really nice.

All around peaceful and pleasant stay

We truly enjoyed our stay in the Ponderosa cabin. Jenna was there to greet us when we arrived. She was so helpful to us for our entire stay. We loved the "camping with comfort" feel. A full kitchen is located in the same building as the bathrooms, where we were able to wash our dishes. There are many items in the shared kitchen for guests to use. I missed this detail in the description, so I wanted to emphasize this positive feature. Also, the washer and dryer are located in that same building and are very nice...well worth the fee it costs to use them. My adult children played with their 12 year old sister as if they were all the same age in the ponds and on the property. They had a ball! We loved making new memories together! We hope to visit again sometime in the future!

Just Not Our Thing

This property advertised accurately. It was clean. We know we would need to use a community bathroom but didn't realize how problematic that would be for us. It's just not our thing. Also, it was weird that they had dishes but no sink to wash them in. So you had to carry a bucket full of dirty dishes over to the community room kitchen to wash your dishes. We did appreciate the bottled water for drinking and the availability for our pup to be with us and to run free on the beautiful property. Lesson learned. No more cabins without bathrooms fus.

If you want cleanliness and running water do not stay hete

There is no running water in the cabin so if you cook you must walk all your dirty dishes to the service kitchen. There is one electric skillet in our cabin and a crockpot. There is not a pan big enough in the service kitchen to boil spaghetti. The bathrooms were filthy from the first day. We stayed 3 nights. They never cleaned the bathroom. I have pictures however there is no way to post them here. I tried to call management and it went straight to voicemail with no way to leave message. I text the manager 3 times about how dirty the bathrooms were or there were no towels - not one time did they text me back. So this business about if you need anything just text us a lie The one positive - the beds were comfy.

Arrived late, but lovely overnight stay here. Comfortable beds and well appointed cabin. No running water or plumbing in cabins, but this was clearly stated in the description. Might be hard with kids going to communal bathhouse in the middle of the night.
