We really enjoyed our stay at "Grandma's House". The home is beautifully decorated and very clean and nicely supplied with anything we needed. A nice fenced in back yard for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Communication with the VRBO manager and the property owners was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Highly recommend this place. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. So thankful we found this place!
This property suited our family's needs perfectly. There was room for all of us and it was conveniently located for our visit. Sarah was a responsive host. I would stay here again.
Grandma's House was the perfect location for our recent trip to Summit. I was there filming a documentary, and had me daughter with me, as well as my girlfriend and her daughter.
Our girls, just adored the house. The teen immediately said: "I wish I lived here!" and "You can tell it has a woman's touch!" And my 8 year old has been asking to return ever since.
The host (Sarah) was very friendly and helpful, and super flexible when we had to postpone our initial trip due to my girlfriend's daughter having Covid. And then, when we were at the house, and I wanted to extend for another day, she helped us make that booking immediately, and without a cleaning surcharge.
Really could not be happier. It was my first VRBO experience, and it was perfect.
We all want to go back to Grandma's House.
Thank you Sarah and Family!
Returned to my hometown for a visit with family. Plenty of room for family and friends. Located on a quiet street near the city park. The home was fully stocked and lovely. We will return soon.
This is our first time staying here and it was great. The layout of the house was perfect. Lots of room. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Very nice backyard, are two little baby dogs really enjoyed the fenced yard to play in. Location was a little hard to find at first GPS sent us to the wrong block. Should’ve read the instructions that were sent to me first before using GPS. Once we found the house, it was pretty easy to get around. Neighborhood very quiet very peaceful location. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!
Our family group of 4 adults and 3 kids stayed at Grandma's House for 3 nights, and it was so comfortable, clean, and lovely. There was room for all of us and to spare - we could have included another couple and still had room. The addition room was perfectly set up for the kids, with bunk beds, a comfortable hide-a-bed couch, board games, video games, etc. The home had a fairly well-stocked kitchen and an excellent coffee bar area, as well as bottled water and snacks. There were so many thoughtful touches, from robes to little face towels, a binder of local attractions, and spare blankets. The back yard was fenced in and especially lovely, and the back porch was a wonderful place to sit and visit together while the kids played with a football that was there. The front was also very nice, with another swing and a basketball hoop. Adored the porch swings! The neighborhood is friendly and safe. There is a small grocery store in walking distance, and a good barbecue place quite close. When we needed some extra sheets, the hosts brought them right over, and it was a pleasure to meet them. It really did feel like staying at Grandma's house and we hope to come again when we're next in that part of the country.
We chose this rental because it met all of our needs! We were able to get together with our family, all 6 of us including myself, husband, two adult sons and their significant others (truly our daughters ❤️). The home was nicely decorated, spacious, and comfortable. We knew when we chose this rental that it was a bit away from Norfork Lake, where we were planning to spend our time; however, the drive wasn’t bad and it is pet friendly with fenced in back yard! Owners were quick in responding, very accommodating, and supplied pretty much all we needed and often had to purchase in other rentals. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your home with us. It was a much needed get together and we made great memories! Definitely recommend checking out Grandma’s House!
Grandma’s house was just perfect for our family weekend gathering to float and hike at the Buffalo National River. It accommodated all six of us very nicely. Sarah’s communication was timely and accurate.
We had everything we could need for two families to stay. There is plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. The backyard is also a great place to hang out. Everything was clean and you can tell the home has been recently renovated. It's clear the owners throught of everything to make it a comfortable stay. There are also pictures of the local area throughout the home, which really adds to the charm. It's located near a grocery store (within walking distance) and not far from restaurants and more.
Great communication and an easy check in process. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!
My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights just after Christmas with our teenage daughter. We did not realize the home was so close to a main road but we felt safe. The listing is exactly as pictured/ described. Very well done remodel- very clean, comfortable beds, etc. We had everything we needed for our stay. The only recommendation I would have for the owner is to provide some type of window covering in the bathrooms for privacy (easy fix). We really did not have time on this trip to explore the area, but we were one hour from Branson which was the whole purpose of our visit. The owner also provided a very nice book that contains things to do, places to eat, emergency information, etc. - very helpful! I realized as we were pulling up that I had not received the key code to enter the property, but the owner responded immediately so it was not a problem at all (I should have checked my messages previously)- very much appreciated her quick response! One reason we chose this property was the fenced backyard so we would not have to leash our dog outside... however, there are at least four dogs next door (also fenced) that did require us to keep her on the leash to keep the dogs from chasing each other up and down the fence line (we were not really fearful for our dog but just something to keep in mind if you take your pet outside; the next door neighbor actually came outside when he heard the dogs barking to ensure everything was okay- very nice neighbor).
The house was as described and in a quiet area. The host put a lot of thought into the small things that went above and beyond other places we have stayed. We did find the king size bed to firm for us. I would definitely book again and recommend to others.
