Wonderful people to hang out with - and the wifi is Starlink so it is the fastest on the island by a long shot. Very culturally immersive, hostel style stay.

Imeri and her family were warm and welcoming, but the experience was not what we were led to believe via the Expedia website. We booked as it said we had the place to ourselves, that there were fans in each room, and that it was clean. This wasn’t the case. If we had known what it was actually like, we wouldn't have booked it. This is more like one star accommodation. As I said, Imeri was lovely and I don't want to diminish her hospitality, but when I said to her it wasn’t what the website said it was, she mentioned that she ought to change it! The blurb on the website is deceptive. If you do travel here, there is one toilet that may service up to a dozen people, the shower is a cold trickle, and it's very basic.
