We stayed at Imeris for 6 nights with our 2-year-old son, and had a really special experience. The family and community were incredibly warm and welcoming, and our little boy was absolutely adored the whole time. Just a heads up, if you’re travelling with a baby, be prepared for a lot of love, including the occasional kiss from strangers The home-cooked food was a highlight, with fresh fish served most days.For the first few nights, we had the homestay to ourselves, which felt really personal and gave us a beautiful glimpse into local life. As the week went on, more guests arrived and it gradually shifted into more of a social, backpacker-style environment, with around a dozen other international travellers, mostly from Europe. Good to check in if that’s not the vibe you’re after. We also got upgraded to a lovely house on the hill, which gave us added privacy for the family! All in all awesome stay. Thanks so much
