All parties ended up liking the set up of the cabins. Allowed privacy , yet allowed several gathering places. The hot tub was fantastic! With 67 degrees during our stay (in December!), we were able to enjoy trails in the winter.

Thank you for the great review! We’re so happy to hear you had a great time and found the home clean, open, and conveniently located. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Only the proximity to a very busy, very noisy highway keeps it from being a 5-star stay.

We had a group that came in from different parts of the country to celebrate a friends retirement form the military. The hosts were great in every way and everyone had a great time. The cabins were perfect for our group and we got some fishing in as well. This was a great place and I would highly recommend!

Great property with everything we needed! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and had a great time fishing and paddle boating. The cabin is beautiful and the beds were comfy. Thanks for a great time!
We stayed 1 night and it was great. The hot tub was for 4 people and we enjoyed it. We have 12 people and this place had rooms/beds for all of us. Highly recommendedz

It was such a pleasure hosting y’all! I did want to clarify for others that it’s a 7 person hot tub. So glad y’all enjoyed! Come see us again :)
Excellent propery! The owner is fast in responses. I would recommend for fishing enthusiasts. Would love to be able to post a pic of the cat fish my sister caught. Only down fall was not enough bath towels. I highly recommend this property!
Very deceiving photos of property. Inside cabin was dirty amenities were broken, but worked but dirty. The ponds were very small and extremely close to freeway you could hear and see traffic all night long.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. We wish these concerns had been communicated earlier during your visit, as we are always happy to address maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly to ensure our guests are comfortable.
The hot tub, kitchen fixtures, and outdoor furniture are regularly maintained, and we have since rechecked these items to ensure everything is in proper working order. Regarding the location, the property description and photos accurately reflect the setting, including proximity to nearby roadways, which many guests appreciate for convenience while others may notice ambient traffic noise.
We value all guest feedback and use it to continue improving the experience we provide. Future guests are always welcome to reach out with any questions prior to booking to ensure the property is the right fit for their stay.
Our group included seniors, middle aged, young adults, teens, a tween, and a 7 year old boy. We all had a great time. There is plenty of room to gather, and also plenty of room to slip away to relax.the property is right off 33 and convenient to all the attractions. But, to be honest, we hardly left the place. We found a nice hiking spot near by, .

Hocking Hills stay 2025
Place was pretty clean on the inside, but outside needs a lot of love... had issues with the washer and dryers, seemed we had issues with the dryers drying, and had to use the backup washer... Jared, our host was pretty good in responding to our requests...Just wasn't quite what we thought it was going to be...
Property was the perfect log cabin, clean, spacious, well stocked kitchen. We all enjoyed the hot tub even in the 40 degree weather and snow. Chilly outside but cabin nice and cozy with log burning fireplace. Hocking Hills area beautiful hiking. Kids hardly sat still with all there was to do… all slept very soundly. Our host Jared, was very helpful and timely in answering all of my questions. Would love to return some time!
Property was nice. Pond had many large catfish and smaller bluegills. The men in the family enjoyed themselves. The porches were great for family time. But it could have been power washed to get the large spiders webs. But it was a nice little place that accommodates 12 comfortably. 14 is pushing it.
We were surprised to find that US 33 was close enough to hear constant traffic. The hot tub wasnt working but owner sent someone to fix it. It stopped working again but for us it wasnt such a disappointment that we felt unsatisfied. There was 12 of us and the property was nice and the cabins were clean and in good repair. We had a great stay. Would recommend for big groups who are looking for a resting place close to all the local attractions. Thumbs up from us!!!
This property was very nice, clean, and close to a lot of things. We had a great time fishing. There were some very big fish in the pond close to the house. Minnows worked great which you can buy at the bait shop near buy. If you are looking to catch catfish, chick liver did the trick. There are some rather large catfish in there.
Overall we came for the fishing and the place did not disappoint.
When we arrived we were immediately overwhelmed by the dirt, dust and awful smell of this cabin. Game room is one old arcade machine. Kitchen is in one cabin and dining room table is in the other. The place was not cleaned, as there was still leftover McDonald’s in the fridge. The house is right off rt 33, so you can see and hear all traffic. Do yourself a favor and book a different cabin!

Spencer, this is simply not true and it's tragic you would leave such a review since you never even stayed. You demanded a full refund and we let you know we could not honor that last minute. To bring clarification, the cabin was incredibly cleaned, no dust, no dirty, nothing you claimed. We sent our team out to view it in detail within an hour of your message and everything aligned with our time stamped photos. The arcade is literally brand new that I put together with my own hands out of the new box and in great working condition.
Despite the weather we were able to have a great time. The main cabin was SO cool with the reading nook doubling as a “DJ booth” for our kiddos performing a talent show. The kids loved their “bunk house”. Between rain showers kids had a blast fishing and having bon fires. We were a short drive to all of the caves and hikes in the park, which were incredible. The hot tub was great after long hikes. The only thing I’d say is check the location on a map to ensure it is where you expect in proximity to the highway. It’s close enough to hear it so if you want something fully secluded, this wouldn’t be the right place for you. We didn’t mind it at all, the host was EXTREMELY responsive to my many questions and was above average.
We are all seniors and had a great time. The fishing was a let down as the fountain pond and upper were covered in scum. We did catch a couple.
Friday and Saturday the internet kept going in and out in the guest building, It was a pain for TV and iPads, but we managed. All in all we had a good experience
Thanks again
The homes were nice and had all the amenities one would need. It is a fun place for kids as it has a lot of property to run around and a nice hot tub. The location is close to the highway which is great for access to the highway when you need to run to the store or go hiking but is a bit loud a night if you are a light sleeper. Check an aerial view. The ponds are really cool but if you are trying to teach kids to fish they can be a bit challenging.
The host was great and answered all my questions before booking. He also checked in by email upon arrival and during our stay but we had no issues with the property. Overall it is great for families to relax and enjoy the nearby trails.
