'Kerkje van Peins' is a beautiful holiday home in an idyllic location. The romantic and stylishly furnished apartment leaves nothing to be desired. The owner has endeavored to reflect the original character of the small church along with the comfort of today. As soon as you enter, you will feel the homely atmosphere.
From the living room and terrace you have a clear view of the landscape.
Ground floor:
Modern bright living room with gas fireplace, fully equipped open kitchen (with dishwasher, oven and Jura coffee machine). Living area with dining table; nice bathroom with large shower and toilet. Storage room with washing machine. A somewhat steep staircase takes you to the second level with seating and stairs to the open bedroom with a luxurious box spring bed and a view of the beautiful landscape.
You can park in front of the apartment.

Incredible house, amazing place to stay!

Our stay here was one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed. A very unique conversion of an old church building, with full height ceilings and the bedroom on a mezzanine level in the loft. Every detail is top quality including the kitchen and bathroom. The living space is great for relaxing in front of the fireplace, and looks through the large doors onto the rear patio area with a large open field behind. Though we visited in winter, the outdoor patio looks to be great for sitting outside on a warm day. The house is located in a quiet, beautiful town surrounded by farms and wildlife a great for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt - Ant hat uns Willkommen geheissen und dann durften wir eine wunderschöne Woche in der kleinen Kirche verbringen. Wir mögen "etwas andere" Unterkünfte, abseits und individuell; die kleine Kirche war perfekt, auch als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Wanderungen und Tagestouren auf die Inseln. Herzlichen Dank!!

Skuril und außergewöhnlich

Ein tolles Feriendomizil. Mal was ganz anderes in einer alten Kirche zu wohnen. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man benötigt. Die vielen liebevollen Details haben uns sehr gefallen. Der steile Aufstieg zum Schlafraum ist gewöhnungsbedürftig aber machbar. Ant hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir geben eine ganz klare Weiterempfehlung.

Die Einrichtung der Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und harmonisch. Überall findet man Kleinigkeiten, die einen merken lassen , hier ist man willkommen ! Pralinen , Prosecco , Bonbons und Nüsschen usw. Für einen Aufenthalt um sich zu endschleunigen - PERFEKT ! Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Die Treppe , um in das Schlafzimmer zu gelangen, würde ich eher als Leiter bezeichnen .

Een bijzondere locatie in een heerlijk landschap!

In een voormalig kerkje is een heerlijk appartement gerealiseerd. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien en is een uitstekend plaats om vandaar Friesland te verkennen per fiets of wandelend. Vlakbij Leeuwarden en Franeker en natuurlijk dicht bij Harlingen met verbindingen met Vlieland en Terschelling. Het appartement is heerlijk compleet uitgerust en modern en smaakvol ingericht. Een aanrader!
