Mountain Bliss | 40 Min to Glacier National Park
Welcome outdoor enthusiasts! You'll enjoy a beautiful 3 BR/2 BA w/fenced yard (except garage & owner's closet). Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it's a great place to explore Glacier National Park (33.4 miles), Flathead Lake (12.2 miles), Whitefish Resort (21 miles), Blacktail Mountain (30.7 miles), and countless locations for hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Hospital 0.5 miles away. Permitting requires Guest ID at booking. No 3rd party bookings, no smoking, pets on approval.
The space House is in a safe, quiet, residential neighborhood in a well-kept, established area of town. Neighborhood is tight-knit and friendly. There is a children's park walking distance from the house, and the neighborhood is perfect for an evening stroll. The house is well-kept with regular professional lawn maintenance other services. While it is very central to many various attractions nearby, it is not a location whereby you can walk to nearby restaurants or shops. You will find restaurants/bars and shopping a very short drive away (5-10 minutes in either direction).
Come and enjoy this beautiful home! The home features paintings and wall art from local artists. The bedrooms feature glazed log beds that were harvested by hand from local forests and hand-peeled using traditional methods. Murals featuring different scenes from Glacier National Park adorn each bedroom. The home has an earthy, rustic yet modern feel throughout. It is a perfect place to unwind after your outdoor adventures.
The living room offers a relaxing place to sit back and enjoy a 65" TV. Prime video and several other streaming services are provided; while others you are welcome to bring your log in information! Cable-TV is not provided. Games are also provided, as are some books and magazines. There is a love seat, a rolled arm leather chair with ottoman, and a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa with new, thick mattress. There is also a fireplace for cozying up in the cooler months.
The kitchen space offers new appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking supplies you may require. If you are looking for something specific, please let us know! There is also a propane gas BBQ grill on the deck. And of course, coffee lovers can enjoy complimentary coffee (traditional brew or French press style) as well as a kettle and tea selection for those who prefer. There is a modern dining table to enjoy meals together, or to sit and get some work done if duty calls. There is also a seperate workspace off the main living room if privacy is desired. Complementary wifi is provided.
Off of the great room at the back of the house a sliding glass door opens to a deck. You will find a patio table with chairs, an umbrella, patio lights and a BBQ to sit back and relax. There is even a Thermocell device to help keep mosquitoes away! (While we do our best with regular pest control services, we can not control the outdoors environment in Montana). The back yard is quite large, grass with some trees and fully fenced, facing other backyards that are similarly large.
The space is cooled by a mini-split air conditioning system, located in the main open kitchen/living/dining area. This unit cools the house sufficiently (there are no individual air conditioning units in each room). There are also vertical oscilating remote controlled fans in each bedroom. There is a ceiling fan located in the main open area of the home. The space is heated with mini-split system and fireplace in cooler months. There are also thermostat controlled heaters in each bedroom.
Bedroom 1 is ever so slightly smaller then the other bedrooms. It features a queen size custom log bed, Serta PerfectSleeper Mattress, 32" Roku TV with remote, two nightstands with two lamps, a modern alarm clock, ottoman/seat, vertical oscilating fan with remote, closet space, laundry hamper and luggage racks. There are also extra blankets in case you get chilly.
Bedroom 2 is a touch larger then Bedroom 1 and features a queen-size custom log bed, Serta PerfectSleeper Mattress, 32" Roku TV with remote, two nightstands with two lamps, a modern alarm clock, bench seat, vertical oscilating fan with remote, closet space, laundry hamper and luggage racks. This room has some shelving with remote control candles for added ambience, as well as an extra blanket.
The master suite has a custom king-size log bed with Serta PerfectSleeper Mattress, 32" Roku TV with remote, two nightstands with two lamps, a modern alarm clock, ottoman/seat, vertical oscilating fan with remote, closet space, laundry hamper and luggage racks. There is also shelving for additional storage space, and extra blankets if you need. There is a bathroom suite off the master that has a single vanity, toilet, shower and full-length mirror.
The hallway bathroom features a bathtub-shower combo with new stone tile detail, toilet, single vanity with vessel sink and hairdryer, extra towels and first aid kit.
There is also a laundry room with new large-capacity Maytag washer and dryer available for guest use, complete with iron and ironing board. There is a storage/linen closet where you can find bedding for the sofa bed, should you need it.
Please note the property is well-maintained and cared for. As such, you may encounter lawn maintenance, pest control, snow removal or other personnel. We do our best to coordinate schedules so work may occur between bookings, although this is not always possible.
Guest access There is an owner's closet inside the home as well as the garage that are off-limits to guests. Shed in the back yard is also locked and off-limits. Otherwise, guests have access to the home and yard. Please park in the driveway, off the street. Please do not park in front of the mail box.

An amazing property, especially if you have dogs! Large fully fenced back yard that our dogs loved! Irene was exceptional. There was a little glitch with the washing machine and she promptly gave us pick-up and delivery service for our laundry at her cost. 2 days later they installed a new washing machine. This place was awesome!
We loved staying here with our toy poodle. Wonderful large fenced in yard and all amenties needed. Irene our host is wonderful and very responsive to our needs. Looking forward to coming back!
This house was perfect! The beds and living areas were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the back yard ideal for our 2 doggies. We also found the location very convenient for all of our outdoor activities to Whitehead and Glacier and close to great restaurants. We will be back!
This house was perfect for our family of 5 plus my parents. It was clean and had everything we needed, including shampoo and soap! The deck was great for evenings outside and the yard was perfect for the kids and cousins to play whiffle ball! Location was close to everything and easy to find. Would stay here again if we get back to Montana!

Great property with huge yard. Clean and short driving distance to everything.
We loved our stay at the Mountain Bliss home! Great location in a quiet, safe neighborhood, but close to downtown, shopping and restaurants. The house was cozy, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean--and our dog loved the huge, fenced backyard. Highly recommend!

The home is nice and in a quiet neighborhood but needs a refresh as it is showing wear

Thank you for your feedback! The entire house was renovated in 2022. I strive to offer an updated, clean home-away-from-home. If there's anything that specifically felt dated or in need of a refresh, please let me know. Thanks for staying!
This is a great little house! It's exactly as advertised, very clean, beds were comfortable, and it's very quiet. The neighborhood was pleasant, the backyard was very peaceful, it's close to Main Street that has restaurants etc. Irene was helpful and responsive, overall it was a great house!

About the host
Hosted by Irene
Mountain Bliss has been a labor of love from the very beginning. I fell completely in love with this area and have put genuine care into every detail of this home — because I believe the place you stay shapes the entire trip.
I know this region well and I'm happy to help make your stay exceptional — trail recommendations for your group's experience level, the best local spots in Kalispell, tips for beating the crowds on Going-to-the-Sun Road. Some guests want that guidance, others prefer to disappear into their own Montana adventure. Either works perfectly for me. You set the tone.
What I hope most is that Mountain Bliss feels like more than a rental. That you walk in, exhale, and feel like you belong there — because that's exactly what it was designed to be.
Why they chose this property
There are plenty of places to stay near Glacier. There is nowhere quite like Mountain Bliss.
From the moment you walk in, the craftsmanship stops you. The log beds in every bedroom were hand-harvested from downed trees in a nearby Montana forest, hand-peeled and built by a local artisan — each one a piece of functional art. The Glacier National Park murals in every room, the original paintings of elk, bears, and buffalo throughout the home — this isn't generic vacation rental decor. It's Montana, rendered with genuine love for the place.
And then there's the backyard. Enormous and fully fenced, it's a rare find in a vacation rental — the kind of space where kids can run freely and dogs can roam without a second thought. It's a residential neighborhood setting, open and friendly rather than secluded, with the same spacious yards shared by the neighbors around you.
Mountain Bliss sleeps 8 comfortably, making it an ideal choice for families, friend groups, or multi-generational trips. It's warm enough for a couple's getaway, spacious enough for a group reunion, and close enough to Glacier that you can be on a trail within the hour.
If you're coming to Montana to actually experience Montana — this is your home base.
What makes this property unique
The details are what set Mountain Bliss apart. Guests consistently mention the location, the cleanliness, and the warmth of the home — but it's the craftsmanship that makes it memorable. Custom handcrafted log beds in every room, original Montana artwork throughout, and Glacier-inspired murals that make the place feel like it belongs to the landscape outside.
The backyard is a standout — fully fenced and enormous, it's a rare find in a vacation rental that's perfect for families with kids or guests traveling with dogs.
Add a fully stocked residential kitchen, a natural gas fireplace, individual climate control in every room, and a location 40 minutes from one of the most spectacular national parks in the country — and Mountain Bliss delivers a Montana experience that's hard to replicate anywhere else.
