Host was extremely responsive and super helpful when needed! Great location and super spacious. Overall such a great spot and close to some great wineries we tried such as Edio and Delfino. Such a great place to spend a weekend!

We had an amazing time. The house was beautiful. So grateful for all the (sleep) space making us able to have a group of friends join us for a concert in the area. The little touches were the icing on the cake, a s’mores platter left for us, extra coffee pods, make up wipes, etc.. Best VRBO yet! Already talking about doing it again.

Wonderful stay at the Giant cabin!

The Giant Cabin was exactly what we needed to accommodate our large family in town for my daughters wedding. Beautiful home with plenty of space for everyone! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area

Great home

The home was beautiful, very clean and spacious - perfect for our group of several families with small children. The location is perfect for exploring Apple Hill. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Girls Trip was wonderful!

We stayed here for a long weekend, a group of girls from our family. Games, cooking, baking, puzzles, laughs, so much wonderful time together. The home offered so many spaces to be together but also to break apart into small groups or have alone time. Plenty of sleeping space. AC worked amazing. Kitchen super updated and so large! Deck table was fun to hang out at. Near town and grocery - loved going to Placerville downtown for a few hours and also Blue Barn Provisions - both close to home. Quiet neighborhood, felt very safe. Beds cozy. All in all - super wonderful and owner was very attentive leading up to trip and during trip!

Apple Hill Team Building

Great place for a team building event! The kitchen and space allowed for everyone to cook and enjoy the outdoors. Kathryn was so responsive and helpful throughout our whole stay. We have earmarked this beautiful house for the future!

Peaceful get-away

This home is located in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, tucked back away from any main roads which made it so quiet and peaceful. The home is great for a large group although our gathering was just 4 of us. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the evening and hanging out on the patio which overlooks a forest of amazing trees. The host is responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Multi-Family Getaway

We had a such a lovely visit to the Mountain House with our group of 8. It was clean, spacious, and a perfect layout for our group of two families. The kids had so much fun exploring the yard, playing air hockey, and sleeping in the bunk room. The adults were extremely comfortable in the two bedrooms upstairs. The master is suite is incredible. The property exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely return.

Perfect house for multiple families

The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out, sleep comfortably and enjoy each other's company. It was wonderful to fit everyone at the large dining table, the game room w/ wet bar was a cool spot to hang out, the children's room was lovely, the primary suite was gorgeous. Great location in close proximity to Sly Park. We had a blast at this house!

Beautiful Home in the Pines

We had a wonderful stay here for our mom's 98th birthday. The home felt very comfortable as we mainly stayed indoors because it rained most of our stay.....but there were many areas to spend time in. Lots of perks throughout the house, and the home is very clean. Main bedroom was larger than expected. Katie responded quickly and Monica came by pretty quick when we had an issue figuring out the fireplace.....once it got going it was nice and toasty. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house!

The house was gorgeous & the location was perfect. The bathtub & shower in the master was absolutely amazing & all of the accommodations were great. I couldn't get the fireplace to work in the bedroom, but the dual fireplace in the living room/dining area was thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for the stay! Diane

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful time as a family in this beautiful home! It was great to have so much room to spread out as well as come together comfortably for meals and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, we especially enjoyed the large fireplace to cozy up to. The property is gorgeous and very comfortable. We were extremely grateful for our host, Katie, who was easy to reach and went over the top to return jewelry that we left behind. We hope to return during warmer weather to explore the area more. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent cabin home

We were a group of ten adults and one, two and a half year old child. There was plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms were all nice. The beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom/ bathroom was outstanding. The kitchen was great and I loved how we were all able to sit at the table for breakfast with the fireplace lit. Very cozy. Communication was excellent. I loved how quickly the host responded to any questions I had. She was sweet and very helpful. I would give this Vrbo a 10/10. Highly recommend!

AMAZING Mountain Home

First I would like to remark that the property owner is fantastic. If you have questions/comments and send her a message over the app, she responds immediately. Second, the house. OMG. Its so beautiful! It is down a private road, google maps will send you to it correctly. We were in town for a wedding in Apple Hill area. This home had the space we needed for Grandparents and adult children to come together at. For the mobility challenged folks , there are 2 large bedrooms and bathrooms on the main floor. No need for them to go up/down stairs to enjoy the place. For the rest, there are 3 bedrooms downstairs and another sitting/living/game room and bathroom. One of the bedrooms is perfect for a bunch of kids , if you have them, 4 beds, one of which is a bunkbed. I did see in one of the many closets - some child gates for the stairs, if needed. This place has tons of closets! It has a large family dinner table to gather around for meals. A very large TV in the living room that we gathered around to watch Sunday Football, which was fun. Beautiful decks to sit on and look out at the trees. Access to the garage was great too! We had to bring up some supplies for the wedding and it was nice to be able to unload that into the garage before the wedding and free up our truck for other uses. The kitchen has all the basics that you would need. The Viking brand appliances are beautiful and all in working order. We all thought a winter vacation here too would be amazing.
