Excellent stay by the lake

We spent more than a week at the house and couldn't have asked for anything better. The house was comfortable and was well stocked. We enjoyed the pool table immensely. The dock was among the best parts of the stay, the kayaks, paddle boards and overall serenity of sitting and watching the sunset.

This was a short but amazing stay. The home was beautiful and clean. The pictures don’t compare to how nice the home is or how amazing the views are. The host provides a lot of things such as the firepit, pool table, fire pit, and much more that we loved taking advantage of. Will definitely try to stay here again if we are able to come back!

I can't say enough about how AMAZING this house, the location, the amenities, the view and the experience was for our family! This house has everything! We paddle boarded, played games, made smores and overall had the most beautiful Birthday and Mother's Day weekend! We will definitely be back!

Joint Bachelor and Bachelorette Weekend

The first night we got there on a Friday night, we were hit with an out of the blue thunderstorm making us lose power within the first 2 hours of us being there. However, the hosts were extremely responsive and drove out to the house late into the evening to start the generator to gain power to the fridge so the food we just bought did not spoil. 10/10 could not recommend more for anyone looking for an awesome lake getaway.

Lake Gaston Trip

Our family of 7 had a great time staying at this property and we enjoyed all that lake life has to offer. The house had everything set up really well and there are many options for activities and entertainment. We had no issues renting a boat and jet skis. Owners were very accommodating and communication was great. We hope to come back again next year.

This house has it all. The hosts have thought of everything. The location is very centrally located on the lake. The dock/boathouse was perfect. Great relaxing weekend with no worries. I loved the basketball hoop for the boys room. Everything was just so comfortable and well thought out.

This home is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect. My favorite spot in the house was the sunroom with breathtaking views of the lake. My family had a nice relaxing week enjoying all this property had to offer… enjoying time out on the lake doing different water activities, cooking out on the grill, playing games of pool, fishing, and the list goes on. This was definitely a family favorite and everyone wants to come back! Jacqui was a great host and very easy to communicate with.

All I can say is WOW. We had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and incredibly well stocked for anything we could possibly need. My 6yr old son caught 29 fish off the dock! It was his first time fishing and it’s safe to say he’s hooked. Lake Gaston summer rentals was wonderful with delivering the pontoon boat we rented for our stay. The kids had the best time tubing on the lake. We played games every night and even celebrated my daughters 15th birthday. We were all so sad to leave today. I can’t thank you enough for sharing your home with us. Lake Gaston has a special place in our hearts and I couldn’t recommend this property more.

Fun at the lake

This property is an outstanding property. It’s gorgeous, roomy, well stocked and offers lots of amenities like paddle boards a game room and large screen TVs.Linens and towels are provided as well. Didn’t want to leave!

This house is the perfect house for a vacay at Lake Gaston. We were only there for a long weekend with our adult children and older parents but it was just right for all three generations. The house was very very clean, fully stocked with almost anything you could need, and the towels and linens were top tier. The views were incredible and we used all the amenities including the paddle boards and fire pit. Everyone had a wonderful time. If we ever need to be back in the area, this is the house we will rent in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home on Lake Gaston! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy—check-in was a breeze. The only small challenge was finding the driveway at first, but the lion head on the pillar is your key landmark—just look for it and you’re good!The house itself was spotless and incredibly well-organized. Everything is clearly labeled—from light switches to kitchen shelves—which made settling in quick and stress-free. The layout is perfect, with the main living areas, huge master bedroom, and spa-like master bath all on one floor for easy access.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (and more!). Foil, wrap, oil, and even basic spices were already there—such a thoughtful touch. There are TVs everywhere, but the real showstopper is the view: the lake is absolutely stunning, and we spent hours enjoying it from the cozy sunroom. It became our favorite spot to read, eat, play games, and just relax with the family.The property also has a great selection of outdoor gear—kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, even free weights in the garage for anyone wanting to sneak in a quick workout.This home truly had everything we needed for a comfortable, fun, and memorable stay. Magnificent property, amenities, and process

The property is even more magnificent than presented in the listing. The river and many outdoor spaces were gorgeous and functional for multiple families that wanted some separate and together time. The furnishings, kitchen, and other amenities were high quality and like new. The bedrooms were comfortable, well-lit, and provided bathrooms for everyone at each level of the home. Our 4 young adults and 3 teenagers were always able to find spots where they could get alone time. We were able to drive or boat to several restaurants and food stores and the location allowed us to be selective about the marina where we rented the boat. The owners provided many of the disposable items like soap, paper towels, detergent, etc that we usually need to bring. They were also immediately available during our stay to answer questions and were prompt and thorough with information about the home during scheduling and immediately before our stay. You will love your stay here - a five star rating!

Absolutely lovely! The house was as advertised and prepared with great care. The views were amazing!

By far one of THE best VRBO experiences! The house was well stocked and organized. Jacqui and Johan have thought of just about everything. We found plenty to do..... games, movies, roast marshmallows at fire pit, etc....so we didn't leave the house much. It was relaxing and fun. We're already looking for dates in the Summer so we can do water activities.
