Welcome to “ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE” - Imagine looking out over the Bay & Town of Zihuatanejo far south on the Mexican Riviera; you first see the sun rising on the fishing boats, catamarans and the very occasional cruise ship before dwelling on famed Playa La Ropa. After hours of enjoying consistent 25+ Celsius/85 Fahrenheit, (and a dip in the beckoning pool), it's back to the pleasant shade of the large “terraza” in time to watch the sun setting on hills surrounding Zihuatanejo Bay and finally in to the azure of the Pacific Ocean.
The magic of the fabulous views looking out over famous Playa La Ropa Beach, with your tastefully decorated Casa having many accents uniquely Mexican. The approximately 2250+ square feet of space includes living/dining area, supported with a very functional kitchen for those that want to self-cater; there is also a barbecue and wine/beer fridge on the 750 square foot deck with hammock, (optional), & tropical plants. All rooms have ceiling fans as well as air conditioning.
Zihuatanejo information:
This relaxing fishing village is now a vibrant yet quiet retreat for holiday makers. Most cruise ship lines used to include Zihua in it's destinations for good reason. To this day you can wander down to the fish market every day and buy dinner caught that morning. (Or rent a boat and skipper to catch your own bounty of the sea)!

Surrounding area
Within a 15 minute taxi ride there is the drama of over 10 kilometres of beautiful beaches, local 'Enramadas', (outdoor cafes); $1 beers; beach-side massages ($20), and body surfing. Or grab the clubs or tennis racquet and head for nearby Ixtapa for a round or a set. Also tennis courts nearby - excellent facility.

Playa La Ropa
This local beach is just steps away from our "Agave Blue"; where warm waters for swimming and snorkeling abound. Choose from about 20 beach-front restaurants from budget to 5 star. Discover the gem of Las Gatas, (Cats Beach), for a day of secluded tanning and water activity in this compact reefed bay with crystal clear blue/green water. Walk there over the rocks or take a water taxi for about 20 pesos.

Impressive

This property is located in the most perfect location to enjoy the most fantastic vacation anyone could ask for. The living space is the perfect layout and size for all my family to visit. Kitchen is well equipped for having a relaxing evening at home . The view from the fabulous deck is a bonus and the cold tub on the deck with this fabulous view makes it even more special. Location and comfort

Great location at the end of La Ropa beach with a spectacular view back to Zihuatanejo. A few steps (to keep you fit) to the beach with good swimming and a wide selection of beachside (or near) restaurants. Also easy and cheap local taxi or bus service into town if you don't want to walk (about 25 minutes along the beach). The property has a great deck for lounging and dining with those lovely views and the complex has a decent sized swimming pool if you want to spend a lazy day on a lounger with a book instead of hitting the beach. All bedrooms have great roomy bathrooms and a/c,, but the ceiling fans are really all you need. A great stay, highly recommended.

Wonderful stay!

Robins place was amazing! Was everything we needed and more! It was great to have our place to retreat to after a long day at the beach or even when we just wanted a break from the sand. The dipping pool was perfect for the end of our days. Loved watching the the sunsets from them each night. Views were amazing from every room in the house and communication from Robin and his staff was great. They were always quick to respond. Robin offered his personal advice on the best places to go for our family and was on point with every suggestion. He even found us a cook for a meal to be prepared on our arrival. We look forward to a return in the future!

Wonderful Views!

Our family of four absolutely loved staying at Robin's villa. He was a wonderful communicator from booking through to check out. Robin kindly allowed us to check in early which was very helpful given we have two young boys. The Villa was beautiful with stunning views. It was spacious with everything we needed. We absolutely loved the decor and enjoyed checking out all the different artifacts and pictures throughout the property. The splash pool was really nice to sit and watch the sunset. Location was good, we walked to La Ropa a couple of times and also Las Gatas. A couple of nights we walked to restaurants and then caught taxis back, it was all very easy and convenient. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer. If we ever get back to Zihua we would most definitely stay at Robin's villa again. Thank you Robin.

Amazing Property!

Agave Blue is a true gem. You never really know until you get to a vacation rental if it is going to be as billed but this was everything and more. I had a great feeling because of how attentive Robin, the owner, was in setting up the booking and being available. Went with our family for a week over spring break and it was fantastic. 3 rooms, all clean with their own bathrooms. Infinity pool was great and staff, especially Freddy, was fantastic. The condo even comes with a "local" cellphone so you can make local calls if needed. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi is fast, deck is amazing, condo pool quiet and well maintained. Easy walk to Playa Ropa and all the fun. We also went to Carmelita's in Zihua Centro--unbelievably good. Went off the beaten path to El Tiberon de la costa in Ixtapa--best seafood in a place with amazing seafood (we had a rental car which makes this place easier to get to). This is the place we will come to for our next trip to Zihua!

Fabulous Set up

This property has a fabulous set up. The deck has great views both by day and night, so great to enjoy your coffee outside in the mornings and wine outside at night. The perfect place to unwind. The fact that all of the rooms have their own full bathrooms makes it really comfortable for 6. The location is ideal just a quick walk to the beach with the most beautiful water. A great beach for swimming, paddleboarding, walking or just enjoying a cool drink at one of the restaurants. There were several different restaurants to choose from with lots of fresh seafood on the menu. Just so easy to enjoy the day there. My favorite memories are from this beach, however there are plenty of places to see in this area. It was great to be able to dine in on the terrace as the set up is perfect for enjoying the night views. There are also some great restaurants very close by serving some of the best seafood and mexican cuisine. We enjoyed the option of dining in or out. This was a great get away and would highly recommend this property both for location and set up. Enjoy

Loved the Location

We and one other couple stayed a week. The deck is probably one of the best features of the Punta Marina condos and Robin's is one of the best, because of its relative seclusion, furnishings and dipping tub . We ate all of our breakfasts and most dinners there, played bridge, barbequed and looked at the views, including ever changing activity on La Ropa. We have stayed in other locations in Zihuatenejo , including a new condo above the other end of La Ropa beach, and at hotels across the bay. This has the shortest walk to the beach and to public transportation to the town center. Even so, cab fares in Zihuatenejo are a bargain compared to other Mexican resort towns. During our stay here, we made frequent stops at our favorite bakery, Panaderia Antiqua, which is near the plaza by the bay and had lunch at the little Quesadilla restaurant which is located on the outside of the central market. Our favorite restaurant was El Agave, a small European type second story open air restaurant. Try their Mexican red blend wine. We definitely hope to stay in Robin's condo when we return to Zihuatenajo.

My husband, two daughters (15 and 14) spent a week at this location March 2022. It was our first time to the area. Beautiful location!! Walking distance to two different beaches, one great for sand, the other for snorkeling. Easy walks to some excellent restaurants. We also walked to town multiple times and took a $4 cab ride back. The property was perfect for our family. Freddy, the property manager was always available and super helpful. Robin, the owner, easy to connect with and also had some great recommendations. Loved our stay!!

Incredible vacation!!

We just returned from Zihua and enjoyed an absolutely perfect stay at Robin's condo. The location is ideal - gorgeous views of the water and just a short walk to the beach. The condo and location is very quiet at night and close enough to the water you can hear the ocean. The condo had everything we needed. We cooked at home a couple nights and went to a number of local restaurants. Overall we felt very safe and comfortable. We walked down to the beach everyday to dip in the ocean, but could have been equally happy staying on the terrace and taking in the views. Can't wait to plan our next trip!

Absolutely perfect location. Steps from the beach. yet absolute tranquility in the condo. Listening to the waves from the comfort of the deck was a very nice bonus. The layout of this unit is fabulous, The bedrooms are all a generous size with ensuite bathrooms in each. There was not a comfort missing. Being able to enjoy meals in with such a fabulous view was a real treat. This is a great set up, starting with the condo itself and the support from Robin to ensure a truly relaxing getaway. There was not a worry in sight. The beach is glorious and so close it easy to pop down for the day or just a quick swim. It does not take long to get comfortable with the area. In walking distance they are many options for restaurants, yoga and great paddle boarding. Thank you Robin, one of the best vacations I've had!!!

My first time with Homeaway. I was honestly nervous... We discovered a wonderfull mexican apartement , nicely decorated , spacious , a balcony with lots of flowers and room for a living-room, a dining space and a big spa.We practicly lived on the balcony since the hard sun arrived only in the late after noon. The view was amazing! There is a big pool where you could do laps! All this near a superb beach , lots of restaurants , nice city-mercado-fish-market and activities. But for us the best was how calm this place was and how safe and friendly(respectfull) the people from Zihua are. Mr Hill really made everything easy for us!He did more than answer our questions! Je recommande ,sans aucune retenue, ce petit paradis à quiconque veut se ressourcer , profiter du soleil et bien manger! Ça ne peut pas être plus facile! Appartement chaleureux , propre , décoration locale , belles salles de bain , superbe vue d'un immense balcon comprenant salon-salle à diner-spa . M. Hill a été beaucoup plus qu'un propriétaire pour nous avec ses très bons conseils. Merci encore ++ on y retournera certainement!!

Great experience

We spent 3 weeks at robin's condo in January of 2016. Robin is a great owner/host. He was very easy to deal with and very responsive. For example the air conditioner in the second bedroom quit working. Robin had a new unit installed within 2 days. He has Freddy on site who is an absolute bonus for guests. He is very personal and really looks after robins guests. Freddy's wife is the housekeeper so it all works seamlessly. The condo is very comfortable, large, and the sun deck has left some great memories. The view is second to none. The proximity to la Ropa beach is a short 5 minute walk. Would we stay here if we return to Zihuatanajo.......hands down.....u bet.....thanks Robin it was great

Absolutely Fabulous!

We just returned from two weeks in this fantastic condo! To start with, Robin was wonderful to deal with and full of helpful tips and suggestions. Although this was our 4th trip to Zihua it is always good to get someone else's idea's and opinions. The condo itself was perfect, with three bedrooms which all had their own washrooms with an additional 4th one in the hallway. The patio itself is the best part as it is huge, has very comfortable furniture and the most gorgeous views. We sat there every night sipping our end of day cocktails! The dipping pool on the patio was wonderful especially after climbing the 77+ stairs to the condo daily! We went to the beach or town every day so by the time we left everyone had excellent calf muscles lol! The kitchen has all you need to create all your meals and a blender for additional treats. We only ate out twice and both times were disappointing so having a totally stocked kitchen was a bonus. As others have suggested Fredy is always available, helpful and quick with responses to any queries. All in all an excellent time had by all, we would strongly recommend this place! Thank you again Robin, it was absolutely perfect!

The "Best Terraza" in Zihuatanejo!

We were a group of 5 adults (50ish and 60ish) staying at Casa Agave Blue for 3 weeks and had a very comfortable and relaxing vacation. The condo has everything we needed and has more than enough room for all of us.......it's quite large. Beds are comfortable and each bedroom has it's own bathroom with shower. We had our own washer which we loved and our clothes dried in no time on the drying racks on the deck. The terraza is absolutely amazing and huge. There is never a time of day when you can't find either sun or shade. The wicker lounges and chairs had very thick cushions and were so comfortable to relax in. There are 2 large umbrellas also that we didn't even need. We played cards every morning and evening and ate all our meals (when we cooked) on the large dining table on the terraza. It was perfect and you never get sick of the view of the bay. The dipping pool is AMAZING and could easily have accomodated all 5 of us at once. Yes, there are 77 stairs, plus a bit more level path going back up to the condo from the beach, but we all managed fine and it got easier after a couple of times. Great excercise! Walking along LaRopa beach was great with lots of bars and restaurants along the way.We took a bus to Barra de Potosi....the beach there is awesome. Our favorite beach by far was Las Gatas beach, which we could easily walk to over the rocky path to the left. You can also take a water taxi there and back and book the time you want to be picked up. The water is so clear and the beach is beautiful. Lots of bars and restaurants there also. We caught a bus down by the beach when we wanted to go into town and if we didn't want to walk the stairs back up to the condo, we took a taxi home which took us right to our door. Don't pay more than 50 pesos from downtown to the condo! I suggest you go downtown much later in the day when it's a bit cooler. It also gets much more livelier then. If we had any questions or issues in the condo, Fredy would respond quickly. He's very nice! Robin will email you also now and then to make sure everything is fine and he's got lots of tips for you. We loved Zihat and when we do go back, we will give you a call Robin. Thanks for having us. The Kelowna Crew

Excellent property, relax and enjoy!

We stayed at this beautiful property from Nov 8-20th with our friends. It was well set up for all 6 of us. We had plenty of privacy in the suite with each of us having our own bathrooms and comfortable beds. The property is very quiet and we slept like babies. The views were stunning of the bay by day or the stars or the lights of Zihuatenjo by night. The property is completely set up to make a fabulous meal and socialize or you can find your own spot on the deck, in the deck tub , dining area or living room to hang out. We did go out for a number of meals as well. The best restaurants of Zihuat are a few minutes away- I had the best red snapper I have ever had at one of the local restaurants- and the prices of the local restaurants reflect excellent value with beautiful views whether its on the hillside or beachside. The host of this property leaves suggestions and contact information for these restaurants. Access to the beach is easy and takes minutes. It was nothing to grab your towel and head to the beach- grabbing a lounge chair at Rossy's and enjoying the day. The staff at Rossy's was magnificent- tending to your every need and Deisy's massage's were available right outside of Rossy's- I would highly recommend both. This part of the beach is full of warm, friendly local people who are authentically kind. I felt completely safe and looked after all over this area. There were no timeshares or pressure from anyone to buy anything. There were no hassles on this beach. I would highly recommend this 3 bedroom property. It is comfortable,private, quiet, well maintained, well situated, and excellent value . This property and this beach offers all of the comforts of a luxury resort with the charm of authentic mexico.

Fabulous 3 Bedroom View Condo

What a lovely location and 3 bedroom condo located at Punta Marina. The condo has a fabulous generous sized terrace that overlooks Playa Ropa, an outdoor eating area that can accommodate 6 comfortably and a great soaking/cooling off pool that is perfect to relax in after your fabulous day in the sun. Every morning I sat on the terrace with my coffee and enjoyed the birds and the view and the peace and quiet. There is a lovely pool on the property for the days one does not care to venture out but if you do, the beach and all it has to offer is very close. There are 77 stairs down to the beach; for those that can't do stairs, the beach is a quick 3 -5 min drive down the hill and there are so many wonderful restaurants on the beach with delicious food. The condo is clean, well equipped and the bedrooms are generous in size, each has its own bathroom and it is quiet at night for sleeping! The condo complex is well maintained and the entire area is very safe; many times I was on my own walking around and I felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property if you want a great holiday.

Memorable Holiday in Fabulous Location

We recently visited Zihuatanejo for the first time over the Christmas and New Year period. Travelling from the UK with our two children (8 and 9), what a relief it was after a long haul flight to only have a 20 minute car journey to Casa Agave Blue The property itself is very child friendly with no cumbersome stairs and provides lots of space. The three bedrooms are double rooms with en-suite facilities and all come with air conditioning, which is ideal for those balmy evenings. The living room space with kitchen area is great for socialising when you are cooking in the kitchen, though we did most of our cooking outside on the BBQ. The outside space is the real ‘WOW’ factor of this property with a huge terrace, big enough to spend most of your waking hours, as it not only has a dining table and chairs, but also a seating area to enjoy the panoramic views over La Ropa towards the town of Zihuantanejo. We were fortunate enough to enjoy all the goings on of the Christmas and New Year period, which the Mexican’s really know how to celebrate, so the surrounding area was alive with wonderful music and fireworks into the evening. Also on the terrace is a fabulous dipping pool in which to enjoy the views while relaxing in the sun – or if you have kids, to cool them down and have some fun! Within the complex is a good sized swimming pool with waterfall feature, where we spent most mornings for a little exercise and sun bathing. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Casa Agave Blue not only for the accommodation and views that it has to offer but also the close access to the beach at La Ropa, the great shopping facilities and restaurants at Zihuatanejo, and all the other various opportunities for snorkling, fishing, body boarding – to name but a few.

The view from the very large deck overlooking the bay and beach is stunning enjoyed the infinity pool . We walked to the beach Restaurants La Perla was our favorite The condo was very clean on arrival.an we were greeted by Fred as promised, Agave Blue is well set up for eating in. We spent time at the beach as well as by the large swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Great Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Agave Blue. We enjoyed the privacy, and Mexican decor of the condo. The view from the very large deck overlooking the bay and beach is stunning enjoyed the infinity pool . We walked to the beach Restaurants La Perla was our favorite The condo was very clean on arrival.an we were greeted by Fred as promised, Agave Blue is well set up for eating in. We spent time at the beach as well as by the large swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Family Vacation

Just returned from a ten day stay at Casa Agave Blue. Had a wonderful time. Just loved the patio that stretches from one end of condo to the other. Lovely view of Playa La Ropa. Beautiful flowers and plants to enjoy and a water feature that is soothing. We enjoyed our breakfast and some of our dinners on the patio. After swimming the beach, we hiked up the hill and dipped into the lovely pool of the complex or the infinity pool in the condo. Both were lovely way to cool off. We walked into town once, but most of the time we took the local bus, which was fine. One of our favourite restaurants in town was Fajita Queens. Great food and a lovely owner. Also Tata's. We would return to Casa Agave Blue.

Wonderful 40th Birthday and 7 year Anniversary in Zihuatanejo!!

Thank you Robin for sharing your beautiful home with us! We very much enjoyed every minute of our stay. Upon arrival we were greeted by Fredi who was more than helpful with the condo amenities and instructions. The condo looked exactly like the pictures online except the view is even more amazing than a picture could ever capture! We found ourselves enjoying the spacious terrazo every morning, afternoon and sunset. Easy walking access to the beaches and several restaurants was perfect for us who did not rent a car. Getting to town or to the grocery store was simple by taking a taxi when we needed. We walked to the cute downtown Ziha several times which gave us our exercise and people watching/meeting. What a great location! We so enjoyed the sunset view from the condo and the kitchen/grill made it easy to prepare our own meals when we wanted to stay in for the evening. The dipping pool was perfect for a quiet cooling off or taking a swim in the complex pool which was pretty much to ourselves most of the day. The complex itself is very quiet, peaceful and well cared for. Robin was always available via email for any recommendations (which were always perfect) and Fredi helped us navigate our taxis. We enjoyed the restaurants along the beach being so close to walk to for both casual and more upscale dining. We would definitely stay in Robin's home again on our next visit to Ziha. Our only complaint is that we didn't find this location sooner!
