First time to the outer banks area. What a great location. Very clean, beautiful property and host was very quick to respond when I had a question. There were many places to eat and things to do very close by. Beach was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

The view is gorgeous. Sunrises were beautiful every morning. You can hear the waves crushing from inside. It was wonderful. The condo itself is clean with everything you need. You have plenty of room in the condo and is very convenient to everything. Have already made plans to go back next year!

Spectacular View/ Cozy Vibe

My husband and I loved our stay at Starfish Wishes! The view from the balcony was by far our favorite. It was also relaxing to sit on the couch and enjoy the double door view of the ocean as well. It is perfect to have direct access to the beach! We enjoyed walking to Millers Seafood and Steakhouse in the morning for breakfast and of course their fresh warm blueberry hushpuppies. Gene was a great host. Easy to contact and willing to help with anything. We will definitely be staying there again!

My weekend getaway

I came down for a relaxing weekend getaway and this was the perfect place. This time of year is my favorite here. Even the rainy, windy day was enjoyable. Sitting on the sofa, looking out at the churning ocean, with the fireplace going.....so peaceful. Gene was SO accommodating!

Bijou on the Banks

This is a jewel of a place to stay in KDH. As others have said, it’s quite a climb but the view and location make it worthwhile. Starfish Wishes is very clean and comfortable. The entire location was quiet and we quite enjoyed our stay. Would definitely consider this condo again when we visit.

Amazing Location & View!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Starfish Wishes! It was recommended to us by a friend, and it didn't disappoint. The location was great, and there were incredible views of the ocean from the balcony! There was plenty of space for the two of us. It wasn't as perfectly clean and organized as described, but it was certainly nothing that stopped us from having a great week. We had one issue upon arrival, but Gene took care of it immediately. We would stay here again for sure.

Startup Kit Includes: One set of sheets and one blanket per stay (queen bed); one towel and one washcloth per guest noted on the reservation; and an initial supply of toilet paper (one roll), hand soap, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap, one garbage bag for kitchen and bathroom trashcans, two Keurig coffee pods, and paper towels (one roll) will be provided and are included in your rental fee. The building offers a coin laundry (seasonal) with washer and dryer. There is also a coin laundromat just a short drive from Starfish Wishes.
