Merrywether Lodge - Between Boone/Blowing Rock! Hot tub, fire pit, pet friendly, EV charger!

Merrywether Lodge is centrally located between Boone and Blowing Rock, just minutes to either town and all High Country attractions including a mile from the Art of Living Retreat Center. Only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, location this good is hard to find!

Featuring three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and additional sleeping space in the loft, this is the perfect getaway cabin for a small family or group of friends! The master bedroom on the main level features a king bed, TV and full bathroom. Upstairs you'll find a queen room (complete with a large workspace which has a TV that doubles as a computer monitor!) and a room with two twin beds. These bedrooms share a full bathroom on the hallway. Also upstairs is a spacious loft with an antique arcade machine featuring 60 fun games! There are also 2 twin sleeper chairs (linen provided). Each bedroom is complete with blackout curtains or blackout blinds, allowing you to get a restful nights sleep!

Outside, guests can relax on the large, mostly covered wrap around porch enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner or simply a cup of coffee from the Nespresso Machine at sunrise before heading out to explore town. There is a gas grill on the porch for guests to use (propane will be provided). Roast marshmallows and tell campfire stories down by the fire pit, or take a dip in the brand new hot tub after a challenging day hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Perfect way to unwind!

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained,non-aggressive dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. Aggressive dog breeds include but are not limited to: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Pitbull, Pressa Canario, Rottweiler, Wolf Hybrids, or any other mixes that include breeds. Thank you for observing this rule and not requesting an exception.
- Guests with electric vehicles can use the Level 2 EV charger mounted on the side of the home.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- Parking space for up to 4-5 vehicles.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
