This is our 2nd year of hopefully many staying here. My wife and I love the seclusion and privacy of this cabin. No one in view. Fabulous outdoor space, roomy yet cozy cabin. Everything is so clearly labeled and instructions are clear. 4x4 definitely recommend!

It warms our hearts to know that you and your wife find such joy and peace in the seclusion of our cabin. Your continued preference and appreciation for the space and clear instructions are deeply valued by our team. We would love to continue hosting your future Appalachian Mountains getaways soon!
We enjoyed staying in for 3 days. The place was clean. The dogs loved it too. Only thing I wish they made was a safety gate on the other end of the porch area where the fire pit was. There was only the entrance totally screened in. Then it would definitely be dog friendly. Also the creek wasn’t there. Dried up so we didn’t see any running water flowing through. Other than that, the place was so quiet, was secluded from the rest and that I like. More R&R for us. Was very cozy place! The place was ez to find and downtown Blue ridge and Mercier orchards was about 15-20 mins away.

So glad you and your pups enjoyed your stay and found the cabin cozy and peaceful! We completely understand about the porch area and appreciate your thoughtful suggestion for an additional safety gate—it’s definitely something to consider for future guests. It’s too bad the creek was dried up, but we’re happy you still got to enjoy the quiet, secluded setting and the easy access to Blue Ridge and Mercier Orchards. Thank you for sharing your experience so kindly, and we hope to have you back soon. Thank you!
I'll start with the only negative. The drive in is a bit rough. 4WD highly recommended. We drove our 2WD small suv and there was one section that took us 3 attempts to get up. Also, it's so secluded that none of the pizza places deliver here. The positives, once you make it to the cabin you will love it! Very private, lots of outdoor space to enjoy. The covered area where the fire pit and grill are is excellent. Hot tub area is perfect. Lots of space inside with a bedroom on the main level, one up and one down. Has a pool table but not really useable because of being warped and out of level. Plenty of clearly marked instructions for everything. Very comfy and cozy and having gas logs is a plus! Would definitely stay here again, will just drive a different vehicle next time. Great set up for multiple couples or a family as well!

Thank you so much for your review, Russ! We're so glad you had a memorable stay at K6 Lodge and enjoyed your cabin's many wonderful amenities, like the abundance of space in the yard, soaking in the hot tub, sitting by the fire pit, and the cozy interior. We appreciate your honest feedback and are pleased to inform you that K6 Lodge has a new pool table! We are thankful for your honest review and look forward to serving you again in the future!
My husband and I stayed here with our parents for a family weekend vacation and we had a blast. The cabin is nice and secluded at the end of a winding mountain road which was nice. Most everything there was clean upon our arrival. The kitchen was more than well stocked - we had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils to cook breakfast and dinner at the cabin. The open living area was very cozy - loved the gas fireplace.
We weren’t able to use the hot tub on our first night because it wasn’t warmed up yet(the management company did explain that this is due to the hot tub being dumped in between guests, which was understandable)
The beds upstairs would be better suited for your teens or kids - they are not very comfortable. The other beds in ground floor and basement bedrooms however are perfectly fine.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away; we would definitely consider visiting again if we were to come to Blue Ridge again.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet at the K6 Lodge. It was a perfect size for the 4 of us. There are a few items that should be addressed by the property manager, the window over the kitchen window is broken, does not lock, some jets do not work in the hot tub and the pool table definitely needs some attention. Overall we did have a great time there and look forward to visiting Blue Ridge again.

Came up with some friends and had a great time. Loved the cabin and the area. Even got some snow lol. This place would also be super amazing in warmer weather because of the little fire pit area next to the creek. Highly recommend!
We had a phenomenal stay at this cabin, despite what others have said the drive was not as bad as we thought it would be, suburban did fine. Cabin is at the end of the road so lots of privacy, we enjoyed every bit of it. The only reason for the four stars is the mattresses need an update.

What a great little getaway in the cute town of blue ridge. For starters the booking and check in experience with the staff was very simple with easy to follow instructions. Debbie with the office was also super helpful with any questions I might have had. The cabin itself was a great size with bedrooms on multiple floors which made for great sleeping arrangements for different couples. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we could have needed for cooking as far and utensils and pots/pans. Strong WiFi and tv options with Roku which was great for being up a mountain. Loved all of the outdoor patios on multiplie levels, and the hot tub was amazing! Now to name the very few things I’d say weren’t perfect. The pool table which I was supper excited about is not at all level and it wobbles so really tough to play. The creek is great just a bit of a hike and a steep one at that. The floors and walls seem thin and you can heat lots of movement from people in other floors at night. (Possibly to be expected for a cabin). Not the best as far as views go from any of the balconies. All in all if you’re looking for a great cozy and secluded getaway with friends or family this place is great and located guide close to all that Blue Ridge has to offer. I would stay here again....just fix that pool table ;)
Fantastic cabin for our family, including grandchildren. It was decorated for Christmas and felt warm and homey. Plenty of room for 7 of us, including grands. Kids loved the loft bed and jet tub in the master. Big table for early Christmas meal. Great room was relaxing, we enjoyed Christmas tunes and classical Christmas movies. Took advantage of being so close to town, enjoyed lunch, Scenic Blue Ridge Railway, visited Santa and toured the town. Perfect weekend in so many ways. Thanks for a wonderful stay and blessed weekend!
First impression was not good. Whoever the cleaners are, need to do a better job. There was a sticky substance on the table and the counter tops that we had to clean ourselves. Also, the floor could have been swept better.
If I was the owner for the day, some of the things I would improve upon would be new couches for the living room, new pots and pans (handles should not spin on a hot pan), fix the hot tub (25% of the jets don't work), replace the pool table (it is extremely warped and useless), and put TVs in the bedrooms.
Other than that, we had a great stay. I like the fact that it is off the beaten trail. You definitely need a 4x4 to get to it if the roads are wet. Location was great. The hike to the river is not for everyone as it is very steep.
The cabin was really nice and had everything we needed. Just a few updates would make this a top 5 stay.
Communication with the property management property was easy via email. However, they make you stop at their office in Blue Ridge first to pickup paperwork with the code to the front door and make you sign documents. Those transactions could have been done electronically and prevented an unnecessary stop after a already long drive. The drive to the cabin wasn’t difficult and the direction provided were pretty straight forward. We enjoyed the location. Easy access to all the fun things in the area. The cabin was clean an adequately stocked with the exception of trash bags and firewood. There are signs all over the place saying that every piece of trash MUST go in a trash bag. No lose trash in the cans, I completely understand why. However they only supply 3 trash bags so make sure you bring your own. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would stay here again.
The creek was further away than anticipated & treacherous to get to. Skillets were beyond using but everything else we needed was there!
We had a fun time!
The cabin was very spacious and overall gorgeous! The walk to the creek was very steep and we could unfortunately not fish from it (we are assuming we came at an off season time). The kitchen had lots of dishes and utensils, which was great! The drive up is quite the experience, and we would definitely agree with the description that a good four wheel drive vehicle is needed. We had some issues with the fireplace due to the chimney being dirty and smoke entering the cabin (on the plus side the fire dept has a very quick response time!), as well as, the microwave quitting on our last night.
Overall, it was a great stay and we really enjoyed ourselves! We would definitely recommend it!
The cabin was great and very secluded. The only complaint, and reason for only 4 stars, is the Hot tub. The hot tub was dirty, as we found multiple beer caps in the water, and it smelled funny. Only about half of the jets work at all. Other than that it is a great cabin. For the fly fisherperson, creek is very sandy in front of the cabin, and not conducive to trout fishing. However if you wade up the creek, the fishing improves.

Staff provided great directions to cabin. Highly recommend arriving in daylight first day, as cabin is definitely more remote, gravel road etc. This leads to ideal situation in heavily wooded lot, steep inclined path to lovely area on river. Enjoyed exploring with our Aussie Cattle Dog, but neighbor dog is NOT friendly, limiting our time outside.Cabin itself is perfectly accommodating and equipped, immaculate, and lacked for nothing! GREAT deal for secluded, quiet vacation! Dog friendly and would highly recommend!
Property is the last one on the road so it’s extremely secluded and quiet. Great for a relaxing weekend.

Had a great time at the K-6 lodge! Loved the location next to the creek. It’s a steep hill down to the creek but the path down is easy to follow. It’s just a workout to get back up! Cute little sitting area by the creek and a great creek to play in. Our kids loved that! Cabin was clean and well stocked. Loved the pool table and hot tub too. And the fire pit was great too for roasting s’mores. We really had a great time!!
I loved the layout of this cabin, the kitchen was a good size and has been upgraded which made making meals a breeze, there are several comfortable choices to hang out or to eat so you don’t feel trapped. The shade from all the trees kept the property and house very cool. Would definitely visit again.
Beautiful cabin, fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful views from both balconies. Nice whirlpool tub in master bath. The windows let in wonderful light. The path to the river was the only thing that was sort of bad, it was quite steep and not very easy to do. Plenty of room for families or friends. We had fun playing pool every night as well. I would recommend it.
